“We recently had our ceremony and reception at The Ballroom at Carey Lake, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more! Carey Lake was one of the first venues we toured over a year ago, and from the moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The entire venue and grounds are absolutely beautiful, pristine, and spacious. From the crystal light fixtures and detailed ceiling inside the ballroom to the gorgeous fountain and lake views outside, every part of the property makes such an impression. Their pricing was also very fair and transparent from the beginning, with payments conveniently broken up throughout the planning process. For many of our guests, this was their first time attending an event at Carey Lake, and we are still hearing how gorgeous they thought the entire property was.The food portions were generous, and the staff was extremely attentive, professional, and accommodating throughout the entire day. In the months leading up to our wedding, Jody and her team were wonderful to work with…Communication was always great, and they were available to answer any questions, big or small. Jody provided guidance whenever we needed it and helped make the entire planning process feel smooth and stress free. We truly could not have imagined a better place to celebrate our wedding. We highly recommend The Ballroom at Carey Lake to anyone looking for a beautiful venue for their wedding or special event!!”

“Fig Hollow is truly a one of a kind place to get married. Trish who runs the venue is absolutely incredible. She is patient and kind. She helped our wedding process immensely. She made getting married and the planning process stress free. She was there for us any time we had questions. She gave us amazing ideas on how to incorporate loved ones into our day. From set up, to take down Trish was there helping with it all. Her barn is honestly the place to get married.”

“The Woodcliff Hotel is a beautiful property with breathtaking views, but what made our stay truly memorable was the people. My husband and I stayed for four nights because he wanted a quiet and inspiring place to work on his new novel. He is an author, and the peaceful setting was exactly what he was looking for. While the scenery was wonderful, it was the kindness of the staff that made the biggest impression on us. My husband is blind, and early in our stay we noticed that the room numbers did not have braille or tactile markings, which made it difficult for him to find our room independently. We mentioned it to the front desk, and Vikki and Shawnii listened carefully and immediately understood why it was important. What happened next was something we did not expect. The team found a creative way to quickly make a tactile and braille room sign for our door during our stay. It may seem like a small detail, but it meant a great deal to us. Rather than simply acknowledging the issue, they took action and came up with a practical solution that allowed my husband to navigate more independently. We are attaching a photo because it was such a thoughtful gesture. Before we checked out, the hotel manager personally came by to thank us for bringing the issue to their attention. That conversation, along with the effort they made, showed us that this is a team that genuinely cares about its guests and wants to make everyone feel welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful, but it was the warmth, thoughtfulness, and hospitality of the staff that made this stay stand out. We left feeling valued and appreciated, and we will absolutely be back. In fact, we are already considering celebrating a future anniversary here with friends. Thank you to everyone at the Woodcliff Hotel for making our stay so special.”
