I'm not unhappy with the eye exam except that the perscription didn't include pupal distance without which I can't get a pair of glasses anywhere except from them. I went back to get the measurement and was told to see the optometrist. I told her i did.t have the measurèment and asked here if she could do the measurement. She said they only do that for people who buy their glasses from them. She was very rude.

I never had such terrible customer services several times tried scheduling an appointment and the receptionist kept me on hold for at least three minutes then proceeded to hang up on me. Awful. And it wasn't the first time.

This review is solely based on my encounter with the receptionist. She was extremely rude and condescending. If you are going to have someone as the face and contact person for your office, you should have someone who is at least patient and polite. I had such a negative experience at the office because of her. Will not be returning.

Optometrist desk is horrible. The women is so rude and will do everything but help you. I thought maybe it was just me she was treating horribly but then proceeded to see her be extremely rude to three other patients. Do not waste your time here.

I had cataract surgery by Paula Coleman 3 years ago at Putnam hospital. Since then I had 7 operations at Columbia Hospital Harkness eye institute to try and repair my eye. I never could find out the truth of what happened in the operating room at Putnam hospital I only know the surgery didn’t go right. There’s always a risk when you have surgery I can only say make sure you have the right doctor. I didn’t. Happy to answer any questions.

Very professional and friendly doctors and staff. I felt completely at ease. They are highly skilled and I trust them. Good parking and clean office, too. They even sell glasses on site if you have a prescription to be filled. Highly recommended!

I have been going to this practice for many years, even before they were at their present building. Dr. Coleman is the best ophthalmologist that I have ever been to. She is thorough in her examination. I also go to Dr. Shin for my contacts, and she is excellent. I highly recommend them both.

So sorry to see all these negative reviews about a practice that has always treated me very professionally. It's busy so I don't expect a lot of idle chatter. These folks are strictly business, they have all the latest equipment to examine our eyes and in the 12 years I have been seeing Dr. Coleman and her associates, I have been extremely pleased. Maybe give them another chance?
