They have a pretty good selection of items and the prices are reasonable just don't ask the pharmacy any questions as you will get nothing but attitude.

In regards to the "downtown" store located at 485 East Main street, I can comment on this store as 9 times out of 10 I shop at this store not at the "uptown" store as I live in the downtown area and it's more convenient. The store is a great place to do some light shopping with a variety of items. They have great deals, however if the item is not on sale it will be costly. I'd consider the store to be on the expensive side for several items. For example, a window double fan at Kinney was almost $45 but the same exact fan could be purchased at Wal-Mart for just about $27. But there are several great deals and coupons if you have the "thrive" card. While shopping here I suggest you have a thrive card. The pharmacy- the pharmacy is great. I have two pharmacists that I go to for everything pharmacy related, Mark is my pharmacist and if for some reason he isn't there, I converse with Mary-Jo. Mark is an excellent pharmacist and will go above and beyond to help you in any way he can. Whenever I get a new medication that I'm not familiar with for myself or children I always always ask Mark his thoughts on the medication, I ask him if he thinks it's safe and or if he would give it to one of his family members. Overall I couldn't ask for a better pharmacist. Mary-Jo is also a great pharmacist that will go above and beyond for you too. There are a couple pharmacy clerks that know their stuff and are absolutely great however, there are several new faces there often. It would be great if they had clerks stay and not come and go. Seems as though as soon as they are familiarized with myself and family's medication etc, they are gone. Otherwise great pharmacy and I wouldn't change to any other pharmacy unless Mark and Mary-Jo weren't there.

I have been getting my medications here for free years usually things are fine. I started a new medication and there is always an issue with me being able to pick them up. 2 weeks ago I called was told I had 2 prescriptions but one wouldn’t be ready until 7pm. So I went the next day they gave me one medication and told me the other one wasn’t authorized! So after some talking they were able to give me half my medication enough for 15 days and my doctor would have to call in a new prescription for the remaining 2 weeks. So here we are I called 2 days ago the pharmacy said there was an issue they could only give me a week of medication or I had to wait for my doctor to authorize the whole prescription. I decided to wait I still had 2 days of medication left. So today I do not have my meds. I called to ask if it was ready the woman told me it was there but I can’t have it until the 18th! She said you last picked up on 3/29. I said yes half my script because you keep cutting it in half you gave me enough for 15 days I have no medication left. Apparently that is not her problem and they can do what they want. One day they try to give you half your medication and the next they tell you they are going to make you go 4 days without your medicine just because they can. I will be finding a new pharmacy or tell my doctor I don’t want that medication anymore is too much of a headache to get. Never an issue with any other medicine just this particular one. I do not recommend this place

The staff have always been willing to help if needed. The pharmacy has very polite towards me.True I have been rushed a bit once but that was a very busy day and only had 3 workers in the pharmacy part. If you are transgender this is a good pharmacy as you need only let them know and they will respect you and use your proper name and gender. They have only ran out of my hormonal medication once or twice but that was do to delays caused by covid-19 issues.

I use to use Walgreens but they were so slow and never had the medications I get regularly each month. So I switched to Kinney’s and things have been so much better. They are always helpful and my scripts are always ready and on time each month. Thank you Kinney’s!

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!! The staff are always rude and seemingly too rushed to answer simple questions. I literally heard the pharmacist saying condescending things about me and my prescriptions to the staff while I was on the phone with them. They would tell me things would be ready in an hour, and several hours later not have it ready/not even remember I had called. And despite promising to call/text me when things were ready, I never once received either from them. I switched to Walgreens and it has been SO much better, Kinneys sucks.
