Im Miss Kelsey, director of The Little Gym of Saratoga (@tlgofsaratoga on instagram). I have been director for the last year and a half and have had shy of a handful of poor reviews, all of which are upset family members that do not understand the concept of our classes here at TLG and how I run them. The Little Gym Parent/Child classes are parent based classes. This just means that I am not going to steal your kiddos away from you and force them to do skills! I explain and stand by the specific equipment I call skills on and it is up to parents to guide the kids over and work on skills with them (of course I will always help). It is not up to me to traumatize our little friends by being the stranger to drag them to the other side of the room to work on skills; These kids are 10 months-3 years old after all! Although I don't need to fully justify my actions, I feel very inclined as I have just read a very poor review about me on here for the first time today! Of course you cannot make everyone happy, but I strongly urge anyone here to sign up for a drop-in class and form your own opinion about me and TLG!

I took my one year old granddaughter there. The instructor, Kelsey basically did nothing for the first three classes we attended. I spoke to her about it and she was very snotty and defensive. She said it was up to me to do things with my granddaughter. Not her. I understand that. I was looking for some guidance and suggestions to keep her occupied for an hour. All Kelsey did was sing a song at the beginning and at the end of the class. And use a bubble machine during class. After I spoke with her she was more engaged & showed me some different things that I could do with my granddaughter. She continued to be rude & dismissive after that. I received an email asking me to take a survey. I only gave them a 3 as to how likely I would be to recommend the gym. I then received an email from the owner, Katheyn Pellett, and she told me that I was no longer welcome there. One would think she would have reached out to me for an explanation of my low score. Instead she just listened to her employee who said I was "rude". So not the story. Don't waste your money sending your little one there!

By far the worst experience I've ever had with a business owner. Before I continue, the teachers at The Little Gym in Saratoga are nothing but sweet and friendly, none of this is a knock on them at all.I met the owner 2-3 times when in for classes and I felt she presented as cold, unfriendly and rude. I never saw her smile, she never said hi to my son, and I never witnessed her showing interested in the children or making anyone feel welcome. When I politely emailed a question about a double charge on my account recently she seemed confused by the dates I gave her, so rather than call to clarify she “reviewed the tapes” (I can only take this to mean surveillance footage) to find out when I was there and when I wasn't. Then emailed me and seemingly hinted I was lying about the date I attended. (Something I would never think of doing. I'm not that kind of person!) Turns out her staff had forgotten to charge for at least one class we attended (my card was on file there) and so they double charged the next time I was there. A simple explanation would have been sufficient. No matter how many times I requested, she wouldn't call me and iron out the confusion. As of this incident, there was no way to reach the owner by phone, only email. And I should add I was never verbally abusive or inappropriate in any of my emails to her.Because I left a bad review she angrily emailed me, told me I'm "banned from the premises", and that she is “reporting the info to the authorities” and insinuated she was arranging to sue me. She also told me she kept my email where I was supposedly untruthful about the days I attended, when in fact if she had simply read back to my first email where I clearly stated I had been there on the day the footage showed, this would’ve cleared everything up. I still can’t believe a business owner would watch footage of a customer and email them telling them so.I took my original review down as a goodwill gesture after she said she "may" speak with me if I did. Then the icing on the cake: the owner Facebook messaged me claiming I was somehow responsible for an entirety different negative review on Google left by another individual.I have absolutely NO idea who that person is.I am usually the one leaving positive reviews when I have a good experience with a business, and it takes a lot for me to leave a bad one. So this is simply sad all the way around. Especially for my two year old son who just this morning was singing a song he learned in class, and doesn't understand why he can't see his teacher or go have fun there anymore. So needless, as not once was I (or would I ever be ) disrespectful, rude in class or in any other way disruptive to this business . . . Or to any business, ever.We enjoyed the classes, met a number other of other parents and grandparents there and greatly enjoyed our time.Do NOT recommend!!!

Edit: The owner can deny a review existed all they want. Looks like it's deleted now, but I saw it, and I saw a customer complain that they won't resolve any disputes or misunderstandings via a phone call. So take this into consideration when going here.I had been looking for programs to get my child into & was recommended to check this place out. I'm glad I remembered to sort the reviews by "newest" first before I booked, because I do not want to deal with a business owner who responds to negative reviews in such an unprofessional manner as demonstrated here. It bothered me so much that it felt necessary to leave a negative review without ever having been there.Moral of the story is; always check the newest reviews first! Yikes!

The Little Gym is a wonderful place for toddlers to jump and play with peers. The classes are wonderfully designed to get kids engaged with one another and to explore apparatus to help train and use fine motor skills. Fun, reasonably priced and close to I-87.

Our 4 year old son loves coming here and playing with new friends ? Classes during the week are smaller and more manageable but they do have additional staff on Saturdays to manage the larger crowd

We love the Little Gym! My son has been coming since he was walking and always has the best time. The instructors are always cheerful and friendly, and do such a great job with the kids. We’re always guaranteed a nice, long nap after class.

We had our daughter's 3rd birthday party here and they were great! The girls went above and beyond to make sure our tiny party guests had a blast!

I told them we were moving; they refused to close my account. So they went ahead and charged my card the last months that were owed without any notification. Great business model. I have had to get both my bank and lawyer involved.

Look elsewhere first! I wish I did as while I liked it here for my 2 year old I was super disappointed with the horrendous (undisclosed) cancellation policy. When signing up we were told we could cancel at any time, and when we decided to cancel our monthly payments as with spring/summer approaching our schedule gets very hectic we were told that enrollment is for the whole year, and we would not be allowed to cancel. This was the opposite of what I was told when I signed up as I specifically asked knowing I would only want to attend short term. So we are stuck paying for this gym our son cannot attend. We have used many other gymnastics gyms for our other children, and will continue to go back to them. This is pretty unheard of, and their lack of customer service on this is disappointing.

This Little Gym is located in Ellsworth Commons and is a new facility. The facility is new with great gym equipment and studio for dance. The instructors are young, very good with kids and effective teachers. We love our experience and would recommend to fellow parents. Best for ages 1.5-7.
