I cannot say enough good things about MAH, we love them! They get down on the floor with your pet, make them feel comfortable, love on them like they are their own and care for them just the same. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Over the years we have been seen by nearly every doctor on staff and they are all exceptional. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!”

“Dr. Lori and her superb and sensitive staff have treated both of our black lab mixes during the past 30 years. Our first dog, Jackie, passed in 2009, while our second, Robbie, just passed a few weeks ago after 17 years of visiting tender mercies upon us.

We see Dr. Lori and her staff as both skilled and compassionate practitioners and caring friends to both us and our canines. Dr. Lori provides not merely high-quality care. She also provides counsel on matters ranging from the prosaic (diet, exercise, etc.) to the profound (e.g., surgical options, end-of-life care and decision-making, etc.). We trust her without hesitation. Everything that she does and advises is informed by a palpable desire to do what is in the best interest of our beloved pets.

When Robbie passed, Dr. Lori sent us a handwritten card that expressed in elegant, graceful, sincere, and moving terms not just her condolences, but also how much she and her staff would miss Robbie. Her note, and all the ministrations she provided to Robbie during the past 17 years, made us feel that we were more than clients. We and our dogs were woven lovingly into the fabric of her practice.”

“This was my dog's first visit to Springs Family Veterinary Hospital. We were greeted by friendly staff members on arrival. The office was neat and clean. Boomer was seen by Dr. Ryan, who gave him a very thorough examination. I asked Dr. Ryan for her opinion on insurance coverage for Boomer. Dr. Ryan said she would send me a list of agencies that she had compiled. I received the list the next day!

“My husband and I have brought our two dogs here for the past four+ years after experiencing a very devastating loss with another local vet provider in the area.

We have been extremely lucky and very grateful to the care team at Aqueduct Animal Hospital - especially after one of our dogs was diagnosed with bone cancer 2+ yrs ago. The team here has been very accommodating for our visits, some examples include respecting our wishes to not use anesthesia for our dog’s quarterly xrays, finding time to fit our dogs in last minute for appts if we had immediate concerns, the vets and techs making the time to answer our questions with thoughtfulness and directness, and being a sound source of expertise when we wanted a second opinion to make some hard decisions related to our pet’s care. Often times this part of the vet’s job can be deeply misunderstood by loving pet parents who only want to hear the “bright”’ updates, but we’ve found that knowing what the risks and considerations are is actually the most compassionate advocacy that can be made for your pet’s care. The Aqueduct team has been very gracious in their delivery when we had to sit with some tough news.

Lastly, our family is in awe of the consistent and graceful care that Aqueduct has shown us through the past couple of years since we started coming here and would recommend anyone who is looking for a vet that is invested in your pet’s quality of life and care to be a patient here.”

“I would like to add to a previously posted review. Recently Dr. Keith Payton has worked with my dog Lexi. Once again my experience was beyond anything I could have asked for. This includes the staff at Harmony! Every single staff member that we encountered were gracious, supportive and more than willing to go above and beyond. This visit was a difficult one for us as she has severe life threatening health issues. I trust Harmony Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Keith implicitly and am grateful beyond what I can express in words.

“Sarah and the entire team at Rood & Riddle were absolutely incredible during one of the hardest moments our family has ever faced. While the outcome was not what anyone wanted, Sarah was compassionate, patient, and incredibly informative every step of the way.

When we made the heartbreaking decision to euthanize Lucian, Sarah didn’t just treat him like another patient. She asked me about his life and listened to his story. She gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye and, most importantly, allowed me to be with him as he passed so that he was surrounded by the people who loved him rather than strangers.

The level of compassion and genuine care that Sarah showed us is something you unfortunately don’t see often these days. She made an unbearable moment just a little easier, and I will forever be grateful to her and the entire Rood & Riddle team for the kindness they showed Lucian and our family.

“Wow, hands down best customer service & care I’ve ever received at a vet hospital. Being new to the area and not knowing where to go, I sprung an emergency on them while they were swamped. They first helped me make calls to other places nearby & when they couldn’t help, Upstate made room for us in their schedule. While I was filling out forms, on two different phones making calls, they took my dog & got her checked in, vitals done, and in to a room. They updated me throughout the process on what was happening with my dog while I waited for her. Doc gave me her emergency number if things didn’t get better at night, and another staff member texted me after to check in! Very good experience and we’ll be back for regular visits!”

“My daughter called here yesterday as we were having an emergency with my dog. They were about to close. They were filled up until closing, but they had compassion and mercy and said I could bring my dog in. She was suffering, gasping for air. They all made time to take care of my Princess. Sadly, I had to let her go, but the doctor and her staff were all so very kind and patient. They talked me through each step and I stayed with my girl to the very end.
