I needed birthday gifts for two young girls and had no idea of what to get for them. I found the Toy Box online and drove up this morning. The woman in the store (sorry, but I never got your name) was extremely helpful and friendly. I was able to get gifts for both and I feel confident that the girls will enjoy them. This will now be my go-to store whenever I need to purchase toys.

Had a really good experience here. Went for a birthday present for our 6 year old cousin who is advanced for his age. The gentlemen who helped us - who had a long pony tail, pointed us to the 'Genius' Isle where they had assembly based modules where you can build various items. He went through a number of them, and let us know which he has seen in action, and the few that he hasn't. While we were looking, he came back with several 'games' to look through, although I wouldn't call them games. They were more along the lines of the assembly games we were looking at. In the end bought one 'game' and one assembly thing. I felt we were well looked after, good toy selection, and I would definitely recommend them. Please not I rarely give 5 Star reviews; for that I have to be wowed, or find the same great service on a second visit.

This place has been around decades and i used to go as a kid. It's a cute toy store that reminds you of how stores used to be. However, they are expensive. I went in looking for a specific type of item, they were anywhere for a few dollars more to $30+ more than you can find in other stores or online. Not sure if all products there are like that. If you want to support a small business and can afford the possible increased price then definitely check them out.

I was visiting New York on vacation and wanted to take my granddaughter to a toy store...I was surprised to see so many when I was searching online ... I read the Reviews on Toy Box but that was the only one open nearby that initially grabbed my attention...Well everyone...please take heed when you see negative Reviews because I experienced the same morgue like atmosphere and the nonchalant evil spirited aura...When we finished walking around the store and was paying for the merchandise that my granddaughter chose I spoke about the male salesperson who was very inattentive when I asked him about a toy to the other salesperson and noticed her attitude as well...my granddaughter made a comment when we left the store that 'she didn't care what you were saying either'... For a five year old to recognize that behavior is astonishing and proves that it exists in this store

A classic mom & pop toy store, I always enjoy stopping by as a Hot Wheels / Matchbox diecast collector. So much variety!

Helpful staff! Wide variety of toys and BOOKS for all ages. 3 stars because a lot of items can be purchased cheaper ONLINE...HOWEVER, nothing beats going into a shop and being able to actually experience, see and feel in person, right?! The option to GIFT WRAP FOR FREE IS DEFINITELY ANOTHER PERK. It is a mom and pop store..hope they'll be around for another 40+ years!

Don't even get me started about this place. The owner was following my 6 year old daughter around the store like some CREEP. my daughter wanted to buy a pop it, when she brought it up to me to checkout I GASPED when I saw the price. $15.99 for a SMALL watermelon pop it. I immediately brought this up to manager asking if it might have been a mistake. He shrugged it off and told me and my daughter to leave if we didn't want to buy anything. For the love of God and the Holy Spirit do NOT come here.

This place is extremely overprice. Do not let these scalpers make money off of you. Be patient and hunt for products at retail stores.

This place is amazing. It had the feeling of the toys stores of years ago. The salesman directed me to the exact place I had to be. I found toys for two young boys five years apart.

Please update your hours. I'm at your store at 6:05 and it is closed. Such a waste of time. I won't be back.
