“Dr. Cassandra Ring is the best veterinarian my Willow had, yes had, because he passed away on 5/6/2026 at the office. She and my family were by his side, but she cried as if Willow was her baby. Our Willow, Pitbull mix was 16.5 years old. The office personnel were also in tears, as they said goodbye to Willow with us. Finding such empathy is unique, this office has it, our hearts are devastated by the transition of our beloved Willow, at least he knew such beautiful love. They handled everything for us❤️”

“We found Dr. Solomon last summer. Our first visit was for our cat, Loki, to be neutered. I was impressed with how much time Doctor Solomon took with us to explain everything during the consultation. Much different atmosphere than my previous vet. Everything also went great with the neutering and the cost was very affordable. Our second visit was with my senior dog, who after having a couple bad experiences at the previous vet was a little skittish of the vet and they were no longer even able to get blood work from her without her whining and crying. This is a dog that doesn’t typically cry over anything. Dr. Solomon took this into consideration, shaved the area, used calming petting and other techniques to keep her calm and was able to get blood. All the vet techs at the office genuinely love animals and you can tell they love their job. We have recently had some health scares with Loki and Dr. Solomon has been so good at explaining everything and giving us options. He’s always also given multiple options for a treatment when possible in case cost is a factor. His front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I am so glad that we found Bronx County animal Hospital. We plan on continuing bringing our present and future furry children to him!”

“Myself and my family have taken our cats to Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital and always have received such amazing care. Recently, I had a kitten who ultimately was very sickly and did not make it but the vets at Sleepy Hollow handled the situation with extreme care and respect. While my kittens final care was handled by a recommended specialist, the vets at Sleepy Hollow personally called me to offer condolences, send me a card, and made a donation to Cornell University's animal science program in her honor. “Dr. Jakimer is a genuinely kind person and an excellent veterinarian. He takes the time to explain everything in detail and makes sure you understand what is going on with your pet. When my dog needed an ultrasound, he was very quick to arrange an in-house ultrasound and made the whole process much less stressful.
What really stood out to me was that he called several days later just to check on Decues and see how she was doing, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful and kind. “I recently moved to the Garvies Point area with my 13-year-old, 100-pound Chocolate Lab, Brewski. Instead of taking him back to his longtime veterinarian in Oyster Bay, I decided to visit Brookville Animal Hospital and explained my situation that he was an older dog. He helped me right away. Dr. Mark Plunkett evaluated Brewski and provided exceptional care. Some time later, when Brewski’s health began to decline, Dr. Jeff Krasnoff kindly offered to come to our apartment to check on him. Sadly, the morning before Dr. Krasnoff’s visit, Brewski had to be rushed to an emergency hospital, where we had to make that difficult decision that no animal lover should have to go through.

Throughout it all, Dr. Krasnoff reached out to me during that difficult time and showed remarkable compassion and professionalism. They sent a beautiful handwritten condolence letter afterwards which was first class. She was brought to Dr. Schwartzreich with bad skin abscess which was then treated properly with great attention. Denise, who performed after-surgery care and bandage changing was exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure the wounds were healing in a good manner. “I followed Dr. Gina Antiaris when she took over the practice and I have never looked back. I believe there are 3 doctors there and I trust my cats to no one else. They completely understand and are empathetic to the nutiness some of us clients can inflict on them because they understand that for some, their pets are their life.
They are compassionate and its very rare for any Healthcare oriented establishment but I never felt pressured to get tests done or spend a crazy amount of money. When Dr. Gina tells me we need to do something we know its necessary and not just another way to get money out of us.
