Today we visited the store...on the website it says it closes at 6pm...I arrived at 5:30 pm...and it was closed...there were 3 other people with me...Suggestion if they close early they should put it on the website

I like the merchandise, but the customer service is horrible at this location. Other locations are better. Unfriendly staff- No one greeted me at the entrance area (even though they were just standing there) and no one asked if I needed help as I was looking around to possibly exchange a dress I brought that didn't fit. Since I couldn't find another dress, I walked towards the cashiers. I noticed both were just chatting to each other so I assumed they were not busy and walked towards the first cashier. (Note this was a weekday just before lunch so it was not busy.) The cashiers immediately stopped talking and the first cashier immediately looked down pretending to work as I stood there. She didn't even acknowledge me, it was as if I wasn't there. The second cashier finally asked if I needed help and was helpful up until she tells me that I was returning the item past 30 days and was giving me a $500 merchandise credit. I preceded to tell her Anthropologie's return policy for online merchandise was 30 days from delivery date. Feigning ignorance she uses her finger to cover the reference to "order date" on my receipt and precedes to tell me she couldn't tell that it was order date or delivery date on the receipt. I guess looking up the order details on the register didn't provide that level of detail either (sarcasm). After clearing that up, I was able to get a full refund to my card, but needless to say I'm not shopping here anymore. HQs should have their staff take a course in customer service. It's not the best way to gain customers by ignoring them or treating them like idiots.

i have always loved shopping at anthropologie; typically one of those places where you find something you suddenly can't live without. with that said, i believe that we have all been lead to enjoy looking and shopping there as they have made their mark by incorporating a design and feel of their very own. to me, it brings a free mind in which so many things can work together. i had been focused on that all along, however, i must agree with others as i notice that of all the different anthropologies that i have been able to visit throughout the nation, this manhasset location has increasingly become the most unfriendly and disruptive of that harmonious experience. there is absolutely no acknowledgment of your entry to the store, the ladies are not very welcoming or nice, just gossipy and in their own cold little world almost as if you are inconveniencing them. the counter area is generally a mess! but on a good note, i did once encounter an asian gentleman (employee) there who i felt matched the overall anthropologie vibe that i/we are used to; he was very pleasant. although this is the nearest location to me, i am now considering going further for what i feel is the more promising experience one should have, order online or simply begin my separation from anthropologie :(

I love Anthropologie and shop here often. The sales area may use more organization and be more opened up, but the selection is nice and changes often. I can always find something there. Wish they carried more XL and 16s in stock.

I am a long time shopper of Anthropologie and remember when this location was in Greenvale. It was a much nicer store with pleasant, helpful salespeople. The majority of the salespeople in the Manhasset store are rude and unhelpful. Their behavior stinks especially when one is returning an item. “Thank you, You’re welcome or have a nice day” is not in their vocabulary nor are they much assistance when shopping. The Manhattan locations are so friendly and helpful.

Distasteful attitude by staff at this store. Consistent with other reviewers on this page, staff are rude and treat customers badly. I feel targeted as an Asian and am differentially treated. The staff do not look happy at all to be working at the store and begrudgingly perform their jobs. Very different from how friendly and helpful staff are at other Anthropologie locations. I am not the first person to have experienced this since there are many other similar complaints on this page. ANTHROPOLOGIE PLEASE TAKE ACTION. I will not be returning to this store again.

INCREDIBLY RUDE STAFF. There is no way to justify blatantly telling off and dismissing a client loudly who is merely trying to relay what is being communicated by Anthropologie customer service. This was done in front of other clients and staff who were also around. The staff showed lack of initiative to understand my friend’s issue and refused to speak to Anthropologie customer service when my friend had them on the line. The customer service agent on the phone was shocked by the way my friend was treated and asked for information about the staff, upon which the staff refused to provide her name, quote “You don’t need to know my name”. This is not the first time one of my friends has been treated badly at this store. Obviously the previous complaint to Anthropologie customer service was left unaddressed because this issue continued to occur. Me and my friends will no longer shop at this local Anthropologie store. We love Anthropologie due to the welcoming and helpful customer service we received in stores at previous locations but are APPALLED by how clients are treated at this store. We are loyal clients of Anthropologie for years but Anthropologie will NOT be our top choice to shop at online or in store from here on out especially if this issue is left unattended.

Great place to find interesting clothing items. Home decor, nail and hair accessories, jewelry, handbags as well. Very nice atmosphere.

I'm a real fan of Anthropologie but I had a very bad experience with the Manger in this store. She gave me a hard time to accept the return and keep saying the order was final sale. I kept explaining but she kept yelling and said she accepted the item as a courtesy and won't accept the return for other items of this order anymore. I called the customer service and they told me i can return the order and there is no where on the order mentioned it was a final sale. I will not go to this store anymore

Had a terrible experience with a woman working the register named Melissa. She lacks basic educate and forgets she's at work, not at the bar. There are just some things you do not say. I have never had a bad experience shopping at Anthropoligie's many stores. Today was the first. I think I'll stick to Walt Whitman when on Long Island.
