Be very careful before going there. They have unethical business practices. Went to them for SAT prep. They lady who met with us (Audrey) never stopped talking. We went in looking for maybe 30 hours and she guilted us into more - barely letting us get a word in edgewise. When I told her let me look at a calendar she said don't worry they could adjust it. I then called a few days later and spoke to Joe, I again said that 60 hours was too many and would not fit into the schedule - but they refused to listen to me. When I asked if the excess could be used for science tutoring- they said yes. When we then went to schedule the excess hours, we were told we would only get them if we signed up for more classes. PS, there printer was conveniently broken so we never got a copy of the contract. We kept asking for it, but never received it, I've used a lot of tutoring services and this is the absolute worst. Lost almost $1,000. What a big scam.

We have had a wonderful experience at Huntington Learning Center over the past two years. Our daughter has excelled in her classes and we owe alot of that to her kind and caring tutors. Helen has been amazing! She has guided and supported our daughter and we couldn’t be more pleased. Huntington Learning Center is a special place and we are grateful for all they have done for our family.

I highly recommend the Manhasset Huntington Learning Center location. My son fell behind in school during the covid pandemic. The directors helped to create a personal academic program and their tutors helped him reach and exceed his goals. The directors keep in touch with my son’s teacher so they can modify my son’s academic plan to match his class’s curriculum. I also receive detailed monthly progress meetings from the director that include helpful feedback and writing samples. My son enjoys working with the tutors and is proud of what he continues to accomplish with them.

I have been working with the team at the manhasset hlc for almost 4 months. I have increased my score 7 points on the ACT from my original practice test and am very close to my goal with still time for more improvement! Mike has been amazing at helping me understand what I need to do and motivating me to succeed and my tutors Ashley and Chris have been great.

Took my son here Noor SAT tutoring and was promised that he would score 300+ points high on his SATs from what he scored when they did their first test... he was supposed to have had at least 2-3 more practice test but didn't even have one... they blamed me for not scheduling the test.. told them how am I supposed to know to schedule the test with them if they do not ever tell that is what I am supposed to do... we paid up front almost $6000 for 60+ hours and after all that money and all that time my child only scored 120 points more than their first test they gave him, which if I really look at it the first test he didn't answer 30 questions which if he had, he might have gotten some right, is what they told me... so when I look back he didn't even score 120 points more on his SAT's bc he answer all questions this time. I was expecting with all that money my sons scores would be at least In the high 1400's but it it wasn't, no where close to it... save your money and just get your child to do what the school offers and do SAT testing classes. Most schools offer free SAT online prep. When I called to tell them all this they said they would look into his scores and call me back to try to rectify somehow but never received an text, email or call... would not recommend this place to anyone!

How to describe a second home for a person. For me Huntington has been a second home. For the longest time school has been a challenge for me. Through my journeys in school, Huntington has taught me so much in time. Ive come so far academically allowing me to better express myself in school. To anyone needing help like me, Huntington is not just another tutoring center, its a place to grow both academically and emotionally. There are some many people I have to thank for helping me in time and I can never pay you back for what you have done, for helping me in school, high school and beyond. Overall a second home, a place of comfort and learning.

My Daughter Daxia is a Special Education Student in High School She has been attending the Huntington Learning Center @ the Manhasset location for 8 months. Audrey Viscardi is the director and has been coordinating our Daughters program . Mike has been meeting with us every few weeks to discuss our Daughters progress , and has tailored her program to meet the specific needs of of our Daughter. He has corresponded with the District teachers for a more direct approach of targeting Daxias specific needs.When we came to Huntington Learning Center of Manhasset we felt helpless . Despite all of our efforts and services the district provided, our Daughter could barely read . Im so proud to say our Daughter is thriving . She reads independently and has advanced four grade levels in her reading. She recently passed the 11th Grade Algebra Regents and we have started to look at Colleges for her, something that just a year seemed out of reach.I always believed in the Huntington Learning Center , growing up myself with the Television commercials and hearing good things from other parents I felt comfortable to invest in my Daughters future with them because of their very long history and reputation . Eduction is power , and I no longer feel powerless .

Please do not send your kids here. As a former employee, my experience working for Huntington was absolutely awful. The staff is underpaid while students are overcharged and the books used date back to 1978. Audrey Viscardi, the center director for this center as well as a few others, is the most unprofessional person managing these facilities. She never keeps up with her appointments and is rude to the staff as well as parents. If you send your kid here, you are basically sending your kid to an overpriced daycare. They will learn nothing and you are much better off getting a private tutor. Audrey is very disorganized and will not follow through as she says. You're welcome.

Mike who is in charge of the Manhasset Huntington truly gets to know your child and your family, and does a fantastic job of pairing your child with the best tutor. We sent our oldest child there for SAT prep and now we have our youngest child there. We would not have used Huntington again if Mike was not there.Great experience for my children! They truly know how to pair the right tutor with your child. My oldest child did not like math at all, but Huntington made it the tutoring time my child looked forward to and it showed in the results of the SAT. My youngest needs more ELA help and her time there is truly paying off. Mike is wonderful with pairing your child and scheduling. Highly, highly recommend them!

The Manhasset Location of Huntington Learning Center has been amazing. They are effective, professional, and attentive. They are courteous and efficient. We feel extremely confident leaving our test prep experience in Michael Appelbaum’s capable hands.
