I came in today with 3 items i was hoping to get hemmed, before i even made it to the fitting room i saw the fitting room worker giving a man who clearly didn’t understand english attitude, she was basically yelling at him when he couldn’t understand her, so right off the bat i got a bad impression. Then I went up to her trying to explain what i want hemmed and she didn’t even let me speak and told me to try it on. Once i came out with the first pair of leggings i wanted hemmed, the lady was giving me attitude telling me the pull down the leggings, and once again kept cutting me off and wouldn’t let me speak. Finally i was able to get out what i was trying to say the entire time, that I wanted the leggings hemmed into shorts. then she instantly told me “we don’t do that here”. This is why i tried to ask this in the beginning but she didn’t even let me. (BTW, ty Roosevelt field for hemming them into shorts!) Then I went to checkout because I decided to buy something, and somebody completely cuts me in line and the woman working the register does absolutely nothing about it.

After reading other negative reviews about the store, I was skeptical about returning my item here. Since I happened to be visiting other stores in the same mall, I decided to walk in anyway. The staff were nice, greeted me with a smile, and there was no wait in line. The return process was smooth—overall, a much better experience than I had at Roosevelt Mall.

This past Thursday I experienced blatant discrimination at this store. I walked in after a group of women who were greeted while I was ignored. From the moment I stepped further in the store all eyes were on me. Employees followed behind and in front of me with side eye glances but never offered help. One nearly knocked into me to rush and assist a white customer without apologizing. Two others hovered by me with a fake loud conversation to make it clear I was being watched.
In the fitting room the short haired employee greeted others but when I approached she turned her back, pretended to take a call, swung one of the dressing room doors open and ignored me. When I came back to the main floor all staff were grouped up front staring again. Two employees even stood at the entrance blocking it until other customers left. Later in clearance I was cornered with two women on one side, a male “fixing” clothes on the other, and another standing across glaring at me. I felt unsafe and profiled.
When I asked for a manager the same woman who had been following me revealed herself. She made excuses, tried to gaslight me that it “wasn’t like that,” and only after I explained what I do for work did she change her tone. The moment I confronted her all employees suddenly began pretending to work and the ones blocking the door moved away. Whats funnier, the same guy who cornered me was rich enough to tell me to have a good day on my way out. I guess they do know hospitality after all!
To the tall blonde manager shame on you for encouraging this behavior. And to the one Black employee who allowed it double shame on you. Do not think they won’t turn around and profile you too. For a store in a luxury mall this was humiliating and disgraceful. Even locations in less diverse areas treat people better. I will be filing complaints with Lululemon corporate and the BBB. I will never shop here again.

I drove 30 minutes to the Lululemon in Manhasset after being told over the phone that I had to return my items in-store (not by mail) because I had paid part cash and part credit, and could only get the cash refund in person. When I got there, the male cashier didn’t look closely at my receipt and refunded the full amount to my card, even though over $300 of it was originally paid in cash.
When I pointed out the mistake, a female employee stepped in and immediately told me there was nothing they could do since the return had already been processed. She was rude, dismissive, and completely unapologetic—even though she admitted it was their mistake. I asked if they could simply recharge the card and refund me properly in cash, and she said no without any effort to help, acting like she just wanted me out of the store.
I later called Lululemon customer service, who confirmed I should have been recharged and refunded properly and offered me a $30 credit for the trouble—unlike the store, which offered nothing.
Mistakes happen—but being treated like an inconvenience when you’re just trying to correct their error is unacceptable. Overall, a frustrating, time-wasting experience with unhelpful and disrespectful service. I expected much better from Lululemon.

I was quite disappointed with how I was treated at the front desk today when I went to pay. The staff member was rude and unprofessional, which really affected my experience.

After patiently waiting on line while two employees were chatting, this location refused my return due to some bs non-existent policy additions she just made up, like needing a physical receipt, and said lululemon was very strict. Then why does the app and lulu’s customer service chat tell me I can return? Ive always been able to pull up every single purchase I made by scanning my membership. I had a strange feeling after being refused and took my returns to RFM. And guess what? I got my return processed at RFM without any issues and way nicer employees.

They treat you based on how you look, no matter how much money you spend. The attitude is terrible, hospitality sucks, they will make you feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I would rather shop online.

Requires ID to purchase items using healthcare worker discount. As if my healthcare service to the state of NY was not enough. Rude staff member check out experience. My email with lululemon is attached to my account which is attached to my credit card (full name on it) used to purchase these items is not enough. You guys are giving me 15% on some already high priced 120$ pants, cant make this ish up. 0/5 stars.

Love this location! Always greeted with a smile when walking in. The manager is super nice (don’t remember her name). I came one day while my dog was sick and undergoing testing, needless to say it was a stressful morning. I had to pick her up and when we came back, everyone was so friendly to us. I returned to Lululemon over a month later, still greeted with a smile and asking how my dog is doing!! Feels great to know I am remembered as a customer, especially since I am not a frequent one! They also are helpful when finding my size so it’s as if you have a personal shopper when you are there
