They did a great job with a lift and tint last time I was here, but today they did a really sub-par job. My lashes don’t look half as lifted and the lashes on one of my eyes were partially glued to my eyelid at a downward angle because of the serum that the tech put on at the end. Must have been a new tech. Likely won’t come here again :(

I am writing this after getting home and realizing how upset I am at the unprofessional way I was treated and the audacity in which the staff spoke to me.This is not my first time here, but it will definitely be my last. I don’t know what training the staff went through, because if they had, they would know how to interact with their customers, or in general how to behave in a service industry.I went in for lash extensions, like I have many times before and left my eyelash tech a tip, like I have all the other prior times. Same service, same tip.Not only did the tech follow me out and verbally say “sorry, we tip more than 20% here,” but then proceeded to place the tip back in my hand. It was condescending and so unbelievably rude. I was too stunned to speak. If there is a required tip amount, that should be stated clearly before the service as well as written for all customers to see. I am upset because I felt like I did something wrong and got bullied into giving more, especially after being a frequent customer for some time now. Do you really think people would want to come back to a place, when treated like that?Service: Eyelash extensions

I recently decided to ditch heavy, cheap, dramatic extensions because they were damaging my natural lashes. During my search for a new salon that uses higher-quality products for a more natural volume look, one of my coworkers recommended Manhasset Lash Bar. Although their price list is a bit more expensive than I'm used to, I booked an appointment anyway because new customers get 30% off. Street parking is hilariously easy compared to the Bayside/Flushing salons I'm used to frequenting. My technician determined that an oval lash map would suit my eye shape best. I decided on a C14 mink set, and was guided into a private area closed off from other customers by actual walls rather than thin curtains. The bed was so comfortable, I fell asleep within a few minutes of starting! Halfway through both eyes, she removed the tapes and gave me a mirror to confirm that I liked how it looked so far. The rest of the appointment went by quickly, it only took about an hour total to apply 110 pieces per eye. As a testament to their work's longevity, ZERO pieces fell out during the first week and they still looked good (slightly thinner, minimal gapping) 3 weeks later when I came back for my fill. Definitely choose mink over silk, it's longer lasting due to how lightweight and soft they are!

I love love love this Lash Bar! Every time I come there, they are professional, quick, and amazing! The lashes last longer than I expect and are super high quality. They do an amazing job with eyebrows too. Absolutely beautiful work. I'm obsessed with my lashes and feel so confident now because of them! In the virtual land we're all working in now, having amazing lashes go a long way. Plus - this place is super clean and goes above and beyond to make you feel safe about the work they do
