Impulse buyers heaven! It's possible to browse and shop to your heart's content and not break the bank. I went here to buy games for freshman orientation and found so many fun ones.

Very fun and colorful store at a price you can't imagine ! They have everything here. Lots of toys to choose from if you want to buy your Christmas gifts any occasions. The store is organized and easy to navigate. Think of convenience plus toy store. Walking around Union square I think I saw another one planning to open. After you pick out your stuff you will need to head to the regular check out line to pay, it was quick.

This is a good place for getting quick little gifts for kids and adults, not just teens. We like the candy area too. It's becoming my go to place to get headphones for the family. Most stores I've been to so far have escalators and elevators. No public bathroom. The staff is usually very nice. Sorry if you wanted this to be a teens only place but us older folks have discovered it and now it's too late. We like candy and toys too. :)

Good stuff for cheap. I actually got some pretty decent Tees for $5.50 that have held up well after washing

I can always find what I need in this store. Today I bought 4 bulky underbed storage containers for my bedroom. It was really hard to carry after checkout but a sweet young associate named Ilene came and helped me by taping the packages together so I could easily carry it out. I'm always appreciative of store employees who go the extra mile for shoppers. Please make sure this young lady gets the recognition she deserves. Thank you .

Not a "real" Five Below. I saw junk you could get for a dollar at any other borough location being sold for 3 bucks or more, and while there are 5 dollar items, some are $5.55 (odd price) and up. There's even a section called "beyond" meaning items sold from 6 to 12 dollars. Really?"Five Below" is a misnomer for Manhattan locations. As usual, they jack up the prices because the precious people who live there think they're getting bargains whenin all likelihood they can afford WAY better. Ugh they should be ashamed! The design of the store was bright and clean, the cashier pleasant (side note: there are self checkouts but the cashiers assist you with purchases ringing them up for you; I imagine there have been problems with theft because I've never seen that before) but I really won't head back because most of the stuff is not worth buying, or is a rip off. Manhattan itself is dirty, dingy, boring and depressing, most stores have either shut down or are about to, on a Sunday it looks like the middle of an apocalypse with rude and weird zombies drifting around. No wonder I rarely go there anymore.Go elsewhere folks, go elsewhere.

I've only been in a few five below locations but this is definitely the worst I've seen. They're very limited in terms of what they have and even the categories are a bit limited.

This location is smaller than the one in my neighborhood, but was jam packed with products. Their Five Beyond section was really the best part about the place. It was surprisingly clean and orderly compared to other locations I've been to. If you're looking for stationary items/school supplies just skip this location. They only had an end cap devoted to those items, which was a bit disappointing. The beauty section was massive and well-stocked. Their book section was the tidiest I've ever seen and their arts & crafts section was abundant. What I didn't appreciate was that there was absolutely NO STAFF at the checkout area, so good luck if the self-checkout machines are problematic. People could have just walked right out the back exit with arms full of items and no one would have stopped them! Overall it's worth a visit if you're already in the area.

Went into this store on the second level above Burlington coat factory and found a few San-x brand spiral notebooks for $5 with rilakkuma and summikogurashi.Adult coloring books, puzzles, board games, perfumes, nail art and supplies, lots of candy varieties, cheap craft and paint canvases, cell phone accessories, cheap graphic tees and socks.Do not come here looking for kitchen supplies. There were some food storage containers and a shelf of noodle soup bowls with chopsticks, a stack of wooden chopping boards in the shape of a hot pepper.Definitely a fun store to visit!

5 Below location located in the same building as DSW and Marshalls. discountish store—all items are “$5 or below. store is stocked with everything from candy to books to tshirts to cheap devices and much more. needed a Tshirt in a pinch to workout in and Five Below had a great selection of Ts for $5 each. the store is laid out well, clean, and brightly lit. definitely worth a stop for random candy or things that might be of suspect quality but won’t be a big loss if you lose or break them.

Loved the book choices. Good place to drop in and find something you might need or want for cheaper. There is a large variety of items. Employees have been very friendly in my experience.
