This is near my house and so I tend to shop there. Some of the employees are nice, some are eternally annoyed, and that's fine. Lately I have found issues with my receipts such as items being rung up more than once, and I didn't catch it, so that's on me. On my most recent trip an item was in the wrong spot and rung up at $3.50 instead of $1.25, and I had purchased two. I thought the total was large but I didn't want to hold up the line, so I paid and then looked it over. Then I found out they have a no returns policy, only even exchanges. I asked if we could ask a manager, she said she WAS the manager, but later said she was unwilling to call her manager because she already knew the answer. They said come back any time, and I said I would rather just return them now because there's always a catch. They INSISTED it would be fine. Then they said actually holiday items must be exchanged before that holiday. Well now suddenly that means I have one week. I am done with that store. They don't care about their jobs or their customers, and I'm sure they don't get paid enough to care, but I have reached my limit.
Edited to add, I called a different dollar tree and they are willing to refund me. The people at other store were very courteous and helpful, so that is where I will be going from now on.

the cashier working today paid for my order. What she didn’t know was that I’ve been struggling. And she’ll never know how much that meant to me. I can’t remember her name but she deserves the world! keep her close dollar tree!

This has become my favorite place for everything. If I need supplies for my classroom, for my kids birthday parties, for other birthday gifts and so much more. I think this location specifically has the best options as far as new and unique items, and they keep up with the seasonal sections as well. I'm actually heading there tomorrow to grab some more fall things because they already have those things out!

Though it's my first visit, but I can really promise that dollar tree is a very lovely environment with lovely staffs. Would recommend a more straightforward approach, but still good experience so far
