“The exams are always thorough, but I was not happy that we got charged for Droncit that was given before the results of the fecal test. They should have asked and not just give it.”
“We have been taking our Rottweilers to Beaver Meadows since they were 8 weeks old and the staff and Doctors are great with them. Recently we rescued two pups who were pretty bad off when we got them. The staff and doctors at Beaver Meadows were fantastic, so understanding and compassionate. Cant thank them enough, especially Courtney, Dr Roberts and Dr Hilton.”
“My Riley got fixed today and the process was very smooth , they reached out to me to tell me the surgery went well etc. everything they suggest they give u a quote and no pressure. Super friendly great atmosphere. I’d definitely go here from now on.”
“If you're in the area on a reasonably warm night when they're open, 7 Hamlet's is a great spot to hang-out. I only managed to go once, but it was a lot of fun sitting outside under the stars in the spacious lawn area with some live music and a bunch of people just having a good time. Oh, and of course a beer or three doesn't hurt either. Just wish they had more variety when we were there.”
“Dr. Jessica is amazing, and so is her staff. They saved our 10-year-old teacup toy poodle from death. Other local veterinarians caused terrible problems and took our money. If you need a trusted and affordable EXCELLENT vet, call Pet Vet.”
“In May of 2022 our dogs kidney disease made living very painful for her. We approached the New Hartford Vet Hospital for help in easing her out of her pain. The compassion, considerate, gentle, and private last few hours with our beloved Tess at their facility gave us time to accept the inevitable and find closure. Thanks to all who helped.”

“I am writing this as a follow up to a recent review of mine. The New Hartford VCA was able to help me get my pet insurance refund to be what was expected for a surgery. They were very helpful”
“I live with a cat that has no diaphram and was told as long as he still plays eats and goes # 1 and # 2 there is no need to say goodbye, he spends his days in two different rooms looking out windows and napping. Other vets have said that he belongs in heaven but people live with holes in their diaphram just like him. They are inexpensive compared to other places.”
“We had to put down Charlie our 7 year old German Shepard on Tuesday, one of 4 that we have. Charlie had health issues for a few years and it finally got the best of him. After several different diets and meds we decided enough was enough he needed to not suffer anymore. Maureen understood the decision and moved appointments around to accommodate our decision. The staff was so concerned everyone came in to say goodbye to Charlie. Dr Cornelius came in to start the process and was so assuring we were doing the right thing. The room was set up so comfortably with treats and blankets on the floor. I just want to thank the entire team for making a very tough decision the most comfortable it could be in a very hard time”
“Brought my cat Max to VCA Burrstone for a urinary blockage and the experience was excellent. The staff was professional, communicative, and very kind with him. Dr. Meenan explained the treatment plan clearly and Max recovered well under their care. He came home eating, drinking, and acting like himself again. I really appreciate the quality of care they provided.”
“Very good vet clinic! I brought my dog in for a the emergency room visit and the staff were so kind! They did great with my dog who gets very nervous around strangers. They were very gentle with my dog and able to help him. I trust them him 100%.”
