After 9 months auto biling was different than ageeed. Called 2x’s to inquire. Was told I would receive call back, was never contacted. Spoke to billing a third time, they were Incredibly rude so I cancelled the Pod and they really could care less that their actions caused it. I am Very elated to not have this company servicing my storage needs any longer. I wish the corporation would train those in the billing office to have good customer service skills.

The worst company, can't do their job and then have the worst customer service ever after they totally screw up your move!!!!! Should be class action sued and shut down!!! Possibly one of the most corrupt businesses ever.Just to update, pods continues to be even worse to deal with. No accountability. Go with anyone else.

I am updating my review after finally hearing back from PODS. I received a partial credit, and I am satisfied. The delivery employees and "front line" phone reps were all great. Be cautious and plan well when moving!previous review before hearing from PODS: PODS has a serious middle management/customer response problem in customer relations. I made 10 attempts to speak to someone beyond the front line customer service representatives. This included 5 phone calls and 5 email attempts to various personnel. The root issue was a failure of PODS to communicate that the POD wouldn't be delivered in the promised time window. They rescheduled the delivery without a call or email, then didn't show up in that window either. They only showed up the next day, after a wasted day and wasted money spent being ready to unload a POD that didn't show, without ANY type of outreach from PODS (None). I tried the social media email you may see in PODS responses to other issues- again- radio silence. NADA. Amazing failure of their resolution system. The customer service reps have no power to do anything but credit an electronic issue to which they never respond.

let me be clear , i did not use their service and i will probably NEVER WILL !!! after my experience with POD Moving and Storage and their drivers,my driveway is next to my neighbors driveway , the web site states that the required width of your driveway should be 12 ‘ my neighbors driveway is not even close to being 12’ wide ,so neighbors were moving ,I was at work when they drop and pick the first container and when they drop the 2nd container in their so call driveway, my driveway camera send me the notifications in all the occasions that the POD drivers were using my driveway to deliver the containers there weren’t cars in my driveway and nobody (neighbor) anticipated me or ask for my permission to use my driveway for those occasions.Yesterday, I was at home so neighbor comes to my door telling me if i could move my car off my driveway cause they are picking up their POD container , I said why do i need to move my car? she said so you car doesn’t get damaged ,then she is telling me that the machine they use is big and it needs room i said why would they use my driveway? at that moment she turns around and walks away with an attitude (she never said PLEASE or Do I HAVE PERMISSION) , a few minutes later POD driver shows at my door with and attitude not friendly telling me to move my car out of my driveway ,never said please or can you grant me permission to use your driveway so when i question why would i have to move my car out my own driveway ,he said that he needed 12’. i said 12’ counting my driveway? he said yes i need to use your driveway at this point i refuse not only for his attitude but also because he was telling me like he owned my driveway instead of asking for a favor, so when a refused he then proceeded to threatening me that if he damaged my car is my problem, i said my car is in my property!!!Careful with this people ,not only POD knew that my neighbors driveway did not meet the requirements, they proceeded to leave the containers and they don’t care to use your property without your permission for their business and if you refuse,then they will threaten you to damage your property ,in this case my car , I should call the police but am planning on doing a report ,I have all the info i need cause my security cameras recorded the whole incident and also recorded everything on my cell.

Left POD at our old House charging us for an added 4 months after requested Pickup. Was incredibly difficult to get any response from a human, and refused to take any responsibility for the mistake. No Care for the Customer, or quality service, only out to make a buck.

I had my pod for two days and had three false charges to my card. I had a charge for $484.27, $442.99, $75 all totaling to over $1,000. This is Grand larceny in NYS. They claim that we requested a rush fee, which was never true. It was booked two weeks ahead and didn't even come on the day promised. I received the pod a date late. I highly suggest not doing business with them and renting a storage unit for cheaper and storing your items there.

Somewhat easy to rent a pod if you know the internet it'll be a lot easier pod game 2 days late and was picked up on time drivers were excellent very courteous and care about your belongings that were inside the pod My only issue was it did come two days later than what I ordered it

This was way better than using a moving company if you need to store anything prior to moving in your house. It was so much more affordable. And you can save even more if you are willing to load and unload your PODS. If not, you can use one of the loading and unloading companies they provide.

The PODS concept makes a lot of sense: you have flexible time to load your pod, and then ship it to its destination, without you being concerned about getting it there. And you can store things after arrival at the destination if needed.However, this system also imposes certain limitations that may not make it the best solution for you.For example:1. Delivery time to destinationThe actual POD transfer to the destination likely will take MUCH longer than driving to said destination.In our case, the POD was picked up in NY (Hudson Valley) on Saturday Jan 21, and was not delivered to the Milwaukee area until Tuesday Jan 31. That is TEN DAYS!So, if you are driving to your destination in a couple of days, you will have to do without anything in the POD for up to a week.2. Dropoff and pickup timingYou are given a 3-hour window of when the POD might be dropped off or picked up. I say “might” because our experience was this window was not always close to being accurate.Our pickup window in NY was 12:30pm to 3:30pm. The driver eventually arrived around 6:30pm.3. Dropoff and pickup – space requiredYou need a very large space for the truck and PODZILLA crane to position the POD. It turns out that the parking area for our complex was barely wide enough for the placement. Because of the limited parking, the complex property manager asked that the POD be removed in less than 24 hours, or I would face a fine. But, because they cannot dropoff and pickup the same day, we had to leave it there for at least 24 hours.Again, if you need to plan your activities with a granularity of less than one day, this service is not for you.4. Planning a dayAll of the above means that you cannot really plan more than one activity per day.For example: we had asked for a POD delivery in the afternoon. But when the delivery window showed up, it was morning. So it is very difficult to plan on loading or unloading the POD, the same day that it is delivered or picked up. For all intents and purposes, you really have to plan delivery, loading/unloading, and pickup, on three different days.

I would never recommend PODS. Baffled recommendations, hidden charges, hard to contact. It was cheaper to use a full service moving company. They even charge you over $100.each to pick a delivery and pick up time

The rationale for three stars is due to the delivery process not being consistent. You also can't access your POD without a 24 hour notice. The only feasibility is that the POD is picked up and delivered to your new residence.
