About Mt Zion Cemetery
Mt Zion Cemetery is a large Jewish cemetery right off the LIE. It is a quiet and contemplative place, though the grounds are not really well kept in many sections, with many cut off trees. The staff can be helpful and provide very clear maps. It is the kever of the only Rizhine rebbe buried in the United States. While difficult to find an opening to drive in, the door to the ohel is generally unlocked. The bathrooms are clean.

cute place, looks really gothic when the vines havent been cut but i saw a dead house cat (he had a red collar) in there :c rip

Kever of the only Rizhine rebbe buried in the United States. Many people have davened here and seen yeshios.
There is no longer a need for a key to enter the ohel. The door which is kept closed is generally unlocked.

Found my great-great-great grandfather and many relatives from the same village he was from. I would be happy to take pictures of tombstones if anyone is in need!
