Laura Artis a front desk employee. This woman arrive to the Best Western Plus Hotel to check in with me on 01/21/24 with an employee discount form which was valid. Furthermore, Ms. Artis mentioned she was going to pay with points or a Best Western Gift card. She (Ms. Artis did not have the credentials) she also stated that she did not have a credit card or debit card to use for incidentals. Which is the hotel policy at Best Western Plus. Moreover, I try to assist Ms. Artis but she became erratic and I apologize and she said that I wasn’t sorry. Therefore, she started to scream out loud that being “black in America “ is tough or is an hardship. In others, she started to use the race card on me infront of other guests in the lobby . It was unbelievable how an employee at a Best Western property to react this way when she knows very well how the hotel policies are.

This is a solid 2 star hotel. The staff at the front counter are not friendly and look like they don't want to be there. We upgraded to a king suite, and the only thing nice about the room was the bed. The tub shower was very small, and the shower head was installed too low, so I had to bend down to get my hair wet. The breakfast that's included was OK. The indoor pool was useless, the water was very cold, and the filtration system wasn't working. It's an outdated building inside and out. For the price we may go elsewhere next time. It's not a terrible experience.

I love the place. It’s generally very clean and the staff is great. The negative I have is in this day and age no refrigerator or microwave. That’s the only reason I’m not staying on my next trip. I’ve had to throw away a lot of restaurant leftovers because the hotel has no option to store or reheat it.

Great experience! This hotel, and our room, were spacious, very clean, and quiet. We requested and received a disabled-access room which had wide doorways and grab bars in the bathroom. An elevator is available--no climbing up and down stairs. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of offerings including eggs, bacon, bagels, crumb cake (my favorite!), waffles, etc. Tables were wiped down with cleanser frequently. We enjoyed the coffee machine which offered fresh and delicious lattes, cappuccinos, etc.and 24-hour availability. We were there for my mother's funeral and so I particularly appreciated the friendly, knowledgeable, and kind staff. It was a wonderful place to stay at and we look forward to returning soon!Rooms: Our room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed. Windows are double pane to muffle outside noises. I'm disabled and was happily given the disabled-access room requested before our arrival. It had wide doorways and grab bars in the bathroom. Shower is hot and had great pressure.Food & drinks: Breakfast is included and offers a nice variety of choices including scrambled eggs, bacon, make-your-own waffles, cereal, and a yummy crumb cake. A self-serve coffee machine is available 24 hours and dispenses delicious lattes, cappuccinos, etc.

Clean comfortable rooms. All the staff were friendly, everyone from the front desk people to the maintenance person in the hallway. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, assortment of breads/bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit. The bacon was a bit odd; there were some very cooked, crispy pieces and then some almost undercooked pieces. All was hot and replenished often. The eggs were surprisingly flavorful compared to most hotel breakfasts.

I recently stayed here with family for a funeral we were attending. It has been a while since I have stayed at a Best Western. Here is the feedback.1. Location was perfect for the funeral location we had to drive too.2. Front desk reception was friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs.3. Rooms were clean, quiet and no issues with the heating of the room. The room I specifically was staying in, the only 2 issues I had were the bathroom fan. When you turn the light on the fan goes on and it was LOUD. Like malfunctioning loud. The other was a minor issue with the TV remote that might have needed new batteries. Otherwise the bed might be hard for some but I did not have an issue sleeping.3. Breakfast was good. Eggs, bacon, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, breads, waffles and all the normal conventional breakfast items you may eat. The woman Donna that worked the breakfast helped my Aunt who has a walker with her seating and was very friendly and kind.4. Parking was safe, enough spots with no issues.5. The lodging is right off of Sunrise Hwy and we had no issues with traffic noises.6. There is a whole foods a 30 second drive up the road. I believe there is a Panera bread in that lot too.Overall a decent experience to stay while in town for a visit.

The mold smell was so bad I almost had an asthma attack. I had to use my emergency inhaler. I have lots of pics to proff everything I say. The t.v. was broken the remote would not work properly. The internet kept going in and out. The floors where so dirty I ran out of socks so had to ware my shoes if I was not on the bed. I moved the bed and the huge hole where the mold smell was the strongest had broken wires and mold and dust growing. The bed smelled like mold and was so uncomfortable. The mold in the bathroom was not good. The room felt moist. It's was a very noisy stay as well but that didn't even bother me as much as how un sanitary it was. We had to prepare for a funeral and we were so tired. Code inforcment and the health department needs to go through all them rooms. I feel like that mold could have killed me. I am now on medication to clear this out all that mold I inhaler from the hotel room.Rooms: The floors where so dirty. The scum buildup on the floors and walls. Furniture smells moldy and our clothing smelt as the furniture did. Becareful plugging in a charger you will get shoked. Thir was a huge hole behind the bed with old broken wires covered in mold and dust.Safety: They have mold in the walls in the bathroom on shower curtains and calking around the shower but the mold shows through. The bed smelled like mold.

What a wonderful hotel. It's certainly not the fanciest place, but it was the best one we stayed at during our week long trip. We stayed 4 nights, which we ended up booking last minute due to a schedule change. The staff was wonderful, especially Donna. She was the highlight of our entire trip. The sweetest person ever who went well above and beyond for our kids. The rest of the staff were great too.The rooms were great, with comfy beds, fridge, tv, etc. Breakfast was good, but needed more sausage and less bacon ?.The value cannot be understated. Please stay here for the staff alone, if not for the great prices and good location.

Room was nice, but the lack of staff to remove nails/screws in the driveway to the hotel was not acceptable. We should not have to clean this potential safety hazard up ourselves. Get better best western.P.s. Also please be careful outside, not a safe area. Homeless person asking for money and cigarettes.Safety: P.s. Also please be careful outside, not a safe area. Convenient, friendly, helpful staff, decent breakfast. Biggest complaint is no refrigerator in the room...a lot of older people travel with medications some of which need refrigeration, had to go and buy ice and cooler for my meds Rooms are starting to get a bit long in the tooth lots of wear and tear evident.

The hotel met our needs. Gym could use an upgrade with cleaning cloths and water. Lobby has multi beverage machine with great hot chocolate but capaccino had sugar in it. No half and half- just skim milk at breakfast. Powdered eggs- yuck.
