When you come to return something, the employees become incredibly unfriendly, unhelpful, and rude. I highly suggest going to another Aldo where you won’t be treated like you’re less than for attempting to make a return. Will be contacting customer service, as well. I have never had this issue with an Aldo store before.

Melvin the manager nodding off at the counter. Very clearly on drugs. I asked him to check online for a shoe, he said he knows every shoe in the store, and refused to check. Online said they were in stock. Then some new girl like 16 years old, said her name was Leslie but I’m sure she was lying, started mocking me. Leslie if you’re reading this, I know it’s your first job, but that’s not how to keep a job. And yes, I am 30! :) and I got the shoes online you brat. How dare I ask the man at the shoe store, to check for shoes LOL

I went to Aldo at the South Shore Mall in Bay Shore, NY today at approximately 1pm, to return a pair of shoes. The man at the register was terribly rude and unprofessional. From the moment I let him know I was there to make the return his attitutude changed. He was very annoyed and frustrated to process the return. He was very passive aggressive, speakiIng under his breath, and ignored me when I addressed him. Words can't describe how unpleasant this man was. When I asked him if something was wrong he responded that the problem was that because of my return he didnt have any money left in the register, as i if that's my fault..... I've never had someone treat me the way he did today. I have shopped at Aldo's for years, but after my experience today I will no longer frequent this establishment - Not to be treated like a piece of garbage. I will NEVER shop at Aldo again!!!!

In completely agreement with one of the writers. If I could give them a zero, I would. Ordered a pair of shoes received a handbag. Contacted the Bayshore, NY location, salesperson told me I would need to go back to the store I placed the order for the return. I'm like I received the order in the mail. Waited on the phone for one and a half hour for a representative. If I want to send back via label, the wait time to process return can take 30days. Now they need to send an email to the Bayshore store to process my return. Ridiculous.

If i could give this place 0 stars i would, i ordered shoes online to be shipped to the bayshore store for pickup. i went in to pick up shoes that were marked up and worn, they informed me that it was their sample shoe. Why would you give me a pair of beat up shoes that i ordered online expecting it to be a new pair? i asked to return them for a refund & was told i need to ship them out for a refund. LOL I need to ship out a pair of shoes that were already in your stockroom for my refund? On top of all this, the employee that was present at the time was new & answering my questions with someone on the phone. What a waste of my time! I am beyond aggravated. Worst experience ever. Horrible customer service.

DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION!! So poorly run - if I could give less than a 1 Star I would!! Wait time for service is in sane - only one register so when busy you could wait on line over a half hour. I had an issue with a $100 gift card that I received (and had proof was valid) and it took over an hour - and me calling customer service from the store - for the situation to be resolved! Horrible experience- and the follow up by Customer Service was laughable! Too many other stores out there - never going back to this one!!
