The absolute worst telephone banking customer service on the planet! It takes an hour to make a telephone payment! The automated system is completely dysfunctional! After an hour a representative answers but tells you it the wrong department then there is another long hold before I was disconnected! Come on bfcu you need to do much better! Disgusted with this bank! Try another credit union like jovia, their telephone service is excellent!

Employees are always ready to help or greet you at anytime even if they are very busy. They truly make the customer feel like they are at home.

I had something very unfortunate happened while I was away on vacation. I immediately called Bethpage Federal credit Union and explain to them what happened. They immediately put my account on hold and told me to go to a branch when I get back home. I walked into the Massapequa branch on sunrise highway and sat down with the Assistant branch manager Laura Mener.She immediately dedicated her time to me and did everything to expedite correcting the situation and told me that it may take up to 10 days to correct this issue. Laura filled out all the paperwork and followed up with me day by day on the progress as soon as I sat down with her I felt at ease and she made me feel confident throughout the whole ordeal that my issue would be corrected. Needless to say that it was within a weeks time that that issue was resolved. Laura was a wonderful person to deal with throughout this ordeal and I felt like I didn’t need to worry about a thing as long as she was helping me out. I highly recommend opening an account at the Massapequa branch of Bethpage federal credit union and working with Laura Mener.

As far as banks go... This is a good one. Easy in and out. Customer service is very good. They seem to be good with safety protocol, if that kind of thing is important to you. I've been banking here for quite some time and never had a major problem.

Sitting here in the drive up teller lane w other vehicles. At 8:42 when the bank is supposed to open at 830. There's about 10 employees inside because I saw them walk in. Guess it's too much trouble to open on time

Extremely incompetent. Their phone service usually has an hour wait, they are not responsive to securing messaging, phone calls, and they did not return my SCHEDULED phone appointment. They do not resolve issues in person at the branch either. Disrespectful and a waste of time. Tried to resolve an issue with them and after months of following up, I have seen no results. Never trust these people with your money. This is not the small, Grumman banking instituion that they began as. They are too large and self-important to help their members. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

EXCELLENT !! Bank to save, Big banks squeeze you with charges and for all this with only 5 $ you can have it for a long time in your account, the only thing that is very restricted to make your movements in all kinds of transactions , it does not move very fast

I love this bank, because its very easy to do banking with and less restrictions. Management and associates are very much respectful to me. Plus they offer free coffee to their customers. The bank is very clean and presentable for costumes business. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Very, very frustrating! Why does Bethpage Federal not give the phone #s of branch locations? Every branch only shows Bethpage Federal's 800# only! They can't tell me at the main branch if the Manager who is a notary (which is what I need) is in today! WHAT'S THE BIG SECRET??

The staff there is wonderful. The ATMs are not very reliable. The staff there makes up for the machines. I was having issues with both ATMs this morning before the branch was open. The staff there saw my frustrations and went above and beyond my expectations to help me get my deposit in before that regular business hours. I have dealt with other credit unions and Bethpage has been my best experience of them all!

Worst bank ever if you are forced to go inside. They're on par with the DMV. The guy at the desk will council customers over and over with the same information even though the transaction is completed and ten people are standing on the line waiting. Every time

What can I say, it's just a bank with nice friendly people working there. But they have some nice youth savings accounts with some good interest rates
