“I rarely give anyone 5 stars. The staff was really cool, patient, and more importantly informative. I always hated giving blood but have to regularly now due to high RBC count. It was not busy when I came. They gave me an ice pack, and snacks afterwards. Overall a good experience.”
“There are not enough stars to give this group of amazing humans doing such important work. Once I submitted the form online, it was less than 24 hours before I received a call to review my needs and their services. They were so helpful, kind and compassionate. They walked me through the entire process. Everything was exactly like they explained. No surprises, no issues with travel from start to finish. I can't thank those who helped me with this journey enough. I will be forever grateful to have found them. Thank you PALS team. The work you do is extremely important to people when everything else in their life couid be falling apart around them. Thank y'all for being a beacon of light”
“Book giving service with tons of help and super friendly people. They offer free books to nfp and schools. We were able to get books for an upcoming Juneteenth event. So grateful for their offering.”
“My children enrolled, because it was the only place that I was able to find that offered basketball for school aged children during the dondumbic. Coach Jackson is excellent! For the summer they also offer instructional classes 6 days a week (different sports), that my sons can join in on, and they fall under the umbrella of the nominal monthly fee that's already paid for. The facilities are clean, well kept, the people who work there have good attitudes, and my boys look forward to coming as often as possible!!”
“We donated clothes and household items to the Trading Post and the staff is WONDERFUL. They take the donated goods ,sell them and use the funds to help those in need. It's a great place. Help them to help others.”
“Tracey is the go-to person when you want to talk about student loans. She and her team gives you different resources on how to consolidate loans. She would come up with a strategy that will be less of a financial burden especially with the current climate of the world and inflation.”
“great place to hold a party/event. You do have to be a member or I guess know someone who is but it's still very nice and big. The people are also very nice.”
“The stuff was so Amazing I took my female cat Amber to them to be spayed to get her rabies shots they also did her nails and ears cleaned for an amazing price thank you so much”
“My whole family including myself love this place! It was our first time and we are so amazed at all the details! There are also some interactive ones where you can move objects with a press of a button! And not to mention the folks who are there - they are all so kind, sweet and wonderful! We got there right when they opened and it was pretty crowded already but you are allowed to stay as long as you want. Once we left, there was a line formed outside. So it can get busy! And just FYI, there is a restroom/bathroom there.”
“They are a wonderful organization that don’t only help the little but also helps the little family they should be promoted. They should be inspiring and if you want to help and you have a heart and you have the time and you wanna get back this is the place to join the family to join the organization community to join. All you have to do is looking to the information that I post and I could tell you firsthand that this is a wonderful amazing blessing to be a part of this family”
“The authentic care and endless support of Pink Cans 4 Cancer (PC4C) is unmatched! As a breast cancer advocate since 2004, I was not prepared for my 2021 diagnosis. As I attended numerous doctors appointments and learning of the rocky road ahead I sought solice in knowing I had the support of PC4C /Tony. As a natural nurturer he knows just how to lean in with the right amount of TLC. The outpour of phone calls, text messages and meals not only fed my family as I underwent surgery it ushered in a sense of peace which allowed me to heal. I can not express my gratitude for such a phenomenal support you have been. I now look forward to the newly paved path ahead as I continue to recover and embrace my new normal. #PC4C❤ #IvyStronger”
“This place is run by angles on earth, they take care of as many people as humanly possible they clothes and feed anyone in need and this world is a better place for having the Long Island trading post friends and family is spreading the world with take care of your neibor s and anyone that is in need attitude. God bless us all xoxo”
“Had a 70th birthday surprise party here and it was perfect! We booked this location for the inside/outside combo and it did not disappoint. We paid to have use of the outdoor area/bar (TV included for Sunday Football!) and had a band play. The tents outside were big enough to hold guests under during a brief rain and the grass area was amazing for the kids to run around and play. Linda was very easy to communicate with and our guests are still talking about how great it was.”

“Great organization with wonderful people donating their time and efforts to help those in need. Spoke to Wayne, he explained the whole process. Warms my heart knowing there are people who care.”
“Long ago, I volunteered at the Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center in Port Washington, where I played the piano for the elderly. The center was dedicated to enriching their lives through various programs, and the staff there treated everyone with genuine care and warmth. My time volunteering was always uplifting, thanks to the positive environment created by both the staff and the residents.”
“I'm VERY biased... But as a long time employee I can honestly vouch for the services that they bestow to clients and; nearly as important--the employees who are THE BEST in the business...(Amazing services for the Senior population as well♡)”
“Amazing staff is always so friendly and helpful! My girls and I have made great memories and friends throughout the years. We love being part of this organization.”
“I joined a year ago for the pool and I thoroughly enjoy the warm water (which makes it easier to get motivated to swim during the winter months), as well as the super clean locker rooms and showers. But what I love best is how warm and welcoming the staff is -- when I pop in, they know me by name and always take the time to say hello and ask how I'm doing. When I call, they are super helpful. They just seem very attuned to their clients, which has not been my experience at other fitness centers. I don't take advantage of many of their programs, but am impressed by how much they offer, and I also love that they give back to the community through their food pantry, coat drive and other initiatives. Highly recommend!”
“I started interning at Hope for Youth over a year ago. I was amazed at how caring all the employees were and management. They were so supportive of the children and do their best to guide them in the right direction and make good choices. After my internship I got hired and the staff is one big family. I would recommend this agency to anyone who needs support.”

“As a current employee of EPIC Long Island, my experience from day 1 has been incredible. The management and staff at the Day Hab work together to get things done for each of the individuals under our care. We are given many opportunities to share our gifts and talents to create a greater experience for both the staff and individuals alike. This is an amazing agency to work for!”
“I won a lotto drawing a few years ago. My number will be coming up soon. I call periodically to find out what number they are up to and everyone I have had the pleasure to speak with has been nothing but kind, loving and considerate. I am so thankful for this opportunity, this is the life changer my family needs. Thank you so much for giving my family the chance to make it in this world.***UPDATE****I finally got into my house last year. I am so pleased with all the help I have received and will continue to receive from the LICDC. Thank you all and God bless”
“Went here for a couple months in 2022, specifically the therapist Casey was a huge help when my dad passed and made an effort to help me figure out I had depression and helped my family get through tough times and helped us with donations, who also helped my family in 2016 and donated toys ❤️❤️❤️”
