Peets Jewelers is a family owned and operated business. The founder, H. Olin Peets, opened the doors of Peets Jewelers on Main Street in Massena NY on July 10, 1950. Olin, at the young age of 24 with limited financial resources, a young wife and baby at home, found it necessary to hitch hike back and forth to Pennsylvania to attend school in order to accomplish his dream of owning his own business. His goal was to provide the community of Massena and surrounding areas with quality jewelry at a reasonable price, with a friendly family atmosphere. Peets Jewelers is now third generation owned and operated by Shannon Peets, the granddaughter of H.Olin Peets.
