“A very cute little post office located near a bunch of great food places and close to the water. It is a neat place to check out and also a great spot to send mail. Overall a cute find!”
“John and the guys couldn’t be a better crew if they tried. They have built relationships with everyone in town and are the most helpful Post Office on the planet. The fact that we don’t have mail delivery to our homes can be tricky when ordering items online but these gentleman know what home addresses go with what Boxes and always get you your packages. They are top tier at customer service!! Thank you guys for being part of our community!!!!!!”
“It’s the post office so I’m comparing to other post office. Definitely a nice group of people! They are always helpful when I walk in (about twice a year) they’re always great with walking boxes and envelopes to my door and placing it down nicely. Definitely a clean post office too, it’s small and they do a good job maintaining everything. I’m writing this because I had a terrible experience at another office(might have been their bad day). So this Post office deserves recognition. Thank you!”
“I want to genuinely thank the Southampton post office team! My mail was accidentally delivered there, but they were very helpful in finding it and returning it to me. I sincerely appreciate their support! Thanks again!”
“I truly enjoy stopping in at my local post office. The postmaster Derek is very helpful and professional. I do get a lot of items shipped to me and Michael is always kind enough to help me with my packages if needed. It is just a pleasure whenever I go in there.”
“Erick is the best! Went to the Riverhead location and they told me they couldn’t scan my barcode for COD. Erick completed it in one minute! Go here if you have to choose between this location or Riverhead.”
“Been shipping every day for 25 years. Aways been up / down BUT not anymore. The best Post Master & helpful workers we have ever had. MANY THANKS FOR THE GREAT JOB THEY DO !!”
“Excellent Post Office! The staff are courteous and prompt at the front desk. I regularly drop off boxes for delivery, and they usually arrive faster than estimated. The staff at this office make it my favorite.”

“I can’t remember the guy that assisted me at the Mattituck location but both associates that we there today at 12:30ish were the absolute best, i barely write reviews unless I’m wowed. I had made an appointment for a passport renewal for my son and was running late they did not hesitate to accommodate me! Every person that walked in/out had a smile on their face. I had an appointment the week prior at the Riverhead location and let me tell you totally different scenarios, DON’T go there take the drive to MATTITUCK! Please recognize those two associates they need to hear how much appreciated they are and that we need more of that in the world!!”
