“I developed a printing issue with my HP printer. I was not sure whether it was time to buy a new printer or if the issue was a result of using non-HP ink cartridges. I arrived at the Riverhead Staples store on 1/28/26 around 12:30 pm. The young man behind the ink cartridge counter who assisted me listened to my printing story and offered me 2/3 possible solutions. His suggestions helped to solve the printer issue on the first recommendation. He is a valued Staples employee. He listened to my issues first then made the recommendations. Give the fellow an inflation raise!”

However, picking up my purchase order the female employee didn’t even open the box of cards to go over the purchase which didn’t even have envelopes which I had to return to the store which is 15 miles from my home to get the envelopes.

“I run a very small business from home, and this post office has been the best part about moving from Denver to Southampton. I'm in most days, dropping off already-labeled packages, and the employees are always friendly, and really know their stuff. They are incredibly efficient, and my customers are always raving about how quickly they receive their items. Plus, on the very few occasions that I have had a package get lost somewhere down the line, they go out of their way to help me research the problem. I wouldn't be able to run my business the way I do without them! Can't even express how grateful I am, *especially* during the holiday season when they are slammed!
Plus, our mail carrier Lance is fantastic. I've lived in a lot of places, multiple different states, and he is hands down the *best*. Between Informed Delivery and Lance, I never have to worry about something not arriving as it should. I dread the day that he retires!”
“John and the guys couldn’t be a better crew if they tried. They have built relationships with everyone in town and are the most helpful Post Office on the planet. The fact that we don’t have mail delivery to our homes can be tricky when ordering items online but these gentleman know what home addresses go with what Boxes and always get you your packages. They are top tier at customer service!! Thank you guys for being part of our community!!!!!!”

“It’s the post office so I’m comparing to other post office. Definitely a nice group of people! They are always helpful when I walk in (about twice a year) they’re always great with walking boxes and envelopes to my door and placing it down nicely. Definitely a clean post office too, it’s small and they do a good job maintaining everything. I’m writing this because I had a terrible experience at another office(might have been their bad day). So this Post office deserves recognition. Thank you!”

“I can’t remember the guy that assisted me at the Mattituck location but both associates that we there today at 12:30ish were the absolute best, i barely write reviews unless I’m wowed. I had made an appointment for a passport renewal for my son and was running late they did not hesitate to accommodate me! Every person that walked in/out had a smile on their face. I had an appointment the week prior at the Riverhead location and let me tell you totally different scenarios, DON’T go there take the drive to MATTITUCK! Please recognize those two associates they need to hear how much appreciated they are and that we need more of that in the world!!”
