Horrible customer service and incapable of making a correct delivery. I placed an order for retaining wall caps and blocks. 83 out of 95 wall caps got delivered. I went to the store but was told a case needs to be opened. A week has passed and I have made two phone calls and I still have no answer about the caps I paid for. Additionally, I ordered 360 blocks of the same color and finish. I got 360 blocks but three different finishes. 145 were the wrong color and finish, 12 were the right color but wrong finish and the remaining are right. This company is hands down the worst I have ever dealt with and I am an optimum customer. Save yourself time and aggravation and go somewhere else anywhere else.

Very attentive customer service. Maybe not the product selection of home Depot but they are gaining ground fast.

Bob in charcoal grill department was rude. He kept ignoring us even though we wept trying to get his attention. We were unhappy with his behavior which definitely does not reflect Lowe's code of conduct. We decided against the purchase. Eventually we went to Home Depot to get the grill.

Ordered custom cabinets for kitchen. Paid to have them measure and install. Our instructions were we wanted the exact same configuration as existing. They came to measure. They didn't speak English so giving them clear instructions impossible. We spoke with our associate about our requirements. She said they understood. We ordered. $15,000 order. When time to order sink they told us it was too big. They said new cabinets were smaller. We said we told you we wanted same size. They basically said too bad you signed off on it. We said we can't read technical stuff we trusted. We emailed to get all the sizes to see if there were other issues. No response. We called the store 4 times it just rang. Emailed again nothing. We called corporate customer care they said call the store. We said we did 4 time no luck. They sent us to the installation center. They said call the store. So sorry we didn't go to Home Depot where we got are cabinets the first time. My advice is stay far away from this store. Finally corporate customer care said case opened they will contact within 24 hours. Still waiting. Calling them customer care is a joke and really insulting to customers.

Stopped in for curtain rods..selection was poor to say the least. I also made my way over to the garden section and wow, those poor indoor house plants haven't been watered in god knows how long. Half of them were wilted, dry, yellowing or altogether dead!! I couldn't believe it! Definitely skip the house plant section here and go to Home Depot, which is far superior in general.

No staff, they run in slow motion. You want to know why big box stores are slowly disappearing and everyone's moving online? This is why

What a horrific experience trying to return items to this store! There is not a single manager available for an hour because they are "in a manager meeting". Therefore, the customer needs to wait an hour for them to be done or go home and come back?! What kind of customer experience is that? The items are "past 90 days in the system since they were ordered on the 11th of November, however, the items were not delivered until the 17th of December (proof of delivery date right in the app) so how can a customer be held accountable for 5 weeks that the product was not in their hands! How can a customer be sure that the next time they come back a manager will be available to assist? Extremely poor people management, shame on you! This Veteran thanks you Update, back day 2...again, not able to get someone to assist! Who is running this store?

In early December, I bought my wife an animated Santa as part of her Christmas gifts. The Santa is animated and supposedly plays music. When she opened it on Christmas and tried it, the unit would not play. Today I brought it back as a defective where I was told that they "DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FOR HOLIDAY ITEMS AFTER THE HOLIDAY". I wish this policy had been posted next to the items prior to my purchase. I would NOT have bought it as a gift had I know that. It wasn't terribly expensive but its the principle that counts. As usual, there is no problem taking my money!!!! Unfortunately for Lowes, I will now shop else places first.

I ordered my Shenandoah kitchen cabinets from Lowes over 4 months ago. At the time, the economy was coming back to normal, but some things were still on back order due to materials shortage. The ship date changed a few times. That was understood! So we waited and did not remove our existing cabinets until we knew for sure when the new cabinets were coming. I continuously checked on the cabinets by checking the account online and calling directly to Shenandoah. I was ensured that the cabinets would ship on December 6th. Long story short, got a call from their delivery people calling to confirm "delivery on December 10th" and wanted to "make sure someone would be home to receive the delivery." We were so excited that the cabinets were finally on their way. So, of course we cleared out the old cabinets to make way for the new ones. On December 7th, I received a call informing me that no shipment was coming. No one at Shenandoah knew why, except that their screens now said that delivery would be in January. We are now left with no kitchen through the holidays, with a slew of other complicated situations as a result. No one at Shenendoah will take responsibility for the mishap. We understand that there's materials delay due to COVID, but when buying $18,000 worth of cabinetry, you'd think they would know for sure whether or not the product is ready to ship before confirming shipment. We never would have removed the existing cabinets had we not been told the new ones were on their way. Now, we're spending a ton of money eating out everyday (the whole family, plus relatives who are over for the holidays), since we have no kitchen and are unable to cook. We asked for a discount to help offset the cost of all the unnecessary food expenses, Shenandoah offered us $0 (yes, zero dollars), as per Medford Lowes assistant manager, Jeff. This was after being given the run-around by Lowes (following several phone calls and 4 store visits asking for their intervention). Is is possible to give a review of less than one star, because that's what they deserve.

They were once a really good company but it's no wonder they're there most likely going out of business sometime in the near future. They no longer have customer service and they have limited stock on hand. Once I took a promotional offer to pay off a large appliance over a specific time frame. I paid every payment on time and completed the payoff a few months ahead of time. Later I found out they included in my credit report "slow payer." I have Lowes gift cards that I've been using or another credit card because it includes an extended warranty which their lousy Lowe's credit card doesn't. They just lowered my credit limit which lowered my excellent credit score because of their bad business practices - not mine. I haven't used that card except once but returned the merchandise. They don't recognize that I've used their card in a long time because I haven't wanted to buy anything at Lowes.

I usually shop at Home Depot. Very happy with them. I have two homes and always need something done. Had my kitchen remodeled by them and after 15 years still looks amazing. Lowe's had a promotion in November and offered free measuring and free installation on certain carpets so I decided to head over there an get my project started. (I needed this done by January 1st and thought it would be ample time to get this project completed) I was so wrong. The installers took weeks to set up the measuring appointment. Once they came it took another week for them to contact me and have me go to Lowe's and pick out the carpet of my choice. There are stairs involved so I picked out one carpet for stairs and different carpet for my 400sq ft basement. The salesman at the store informed me that the carpet installers would have to return to my home an remeasure. What???? Isn't everything on their diagram. Another 2 weeks. Finally someone came. Remeasured. I instructed the gentleman where exactly I wanted the carpet. The installers came last week (January 27th) Far cry from November. I just had surgery and was convalescing. But I was going to be home for a while and didn't want to have to wait for another Saturday appointment. The installer showed me a one inch piece of carpet and asked if this was the right carpet. It was looking pretty close, hard to tell after my eye surgery but I trusted that it was the correct color and style. I was wrong. I had taken a sample from the store of both carpets so I matched up my work order with the sample and low and behold it was the wrong carpet!!! I went down to Lowes (Again) On Friday January 29th. I still have not heard from either the installer or the store. I am going to contact my credit card company to see if I can refused the charge and get some help Totally disgusted! Julie

We purchased wooden fences and left some fences for Lowe's to hold !!! A month later we went back to pick up the rest of the fence! WHICH had been paid for! Only to get there and find that they sold it!!! And had no more left to replace our already paid for fences!! Beware when purchasing anything and leaving some behind to pick up on later date! I think Lowe's employees or the manager needs to get better education on Saleman ship and professionalism! Poor poor salesman ship! We should have at least gotten a call that they were taking our fences!

They don't answer their phone. I have called at least 15 times and on different days in the last month. I have let it ring until it kicks me back to the menu, called back again and followed the prompts until I am kicked back to the menu again. I have tried different departments in a vain attempt to talk to someone. I have never yet talked to anyone in this store on the phone. Oh and the reason I am calling now is that I put in an online order for a periscope dryer vent and the piece they gave me is only one half of the the hardware. Yes, it was stupid of me to not look closer but I assumed they would not only bring out half the periscope vent. You may be wondering, if you got curbside pick up you must have called and had someone answer to bring out your order. Oh, if only. I was actually sitting in the car listening to the phone ring for 4 minutes and about to go in when an employee already in the parking lot saw I was in a pic up slot and came to my window. I think I will avoid this place in the future...

So, about 3 weeks ago my washer and dryer decided to pass away at the same time! So, off to lowes to drop a boat load of money on said washer/dryer...it will be delivered this coming Saturday. Awesome, no need to take the day off from work (which btw I just got back after 3 months). The automated phone call from XPO Delivery came the night before and said "delivery tomorrow between 8-1" Perfect, no need to change the early evening plans. So, comes "tomorrow" and get another automated call that the delivery will be today between 2-7. Ah, excuse me...didn't you tell me last night a different time?? Well after the hubs got on the phone with Lowes, we got it moved to between 11-3. Now 2 weeks later, the dishwasher springs broke and the door just drops to the floor. Off to Lowes again for a dishwasher. It will be in stock 7-10 days and they will call with the delivery information. 10 days later, they call, sorry, the dishwasher didn't come. Should be next Wednesday...Next Wednesday rolls around...still not in, next Wednesday...Next Wednesday (yesterday) Hubs get the phone call, still not in...Next Wednesday. B-U-T this is where it gets good...We get the automated call that they will be delivering the Dishwasher between 7am and 11am tomorrow. Hubs gets a text that the Dishwasher is out for delivery and they will call a 1/2 hour before they arrive. Take the day off, waiting...waiting...waiting...11:30 am rolls around still not here. Text hubs and tell him to send me the texts. He sends it to me and it says "out on truck for delivery today between 7 and 11. Will call 1/2 hour before arrival" Cool, I see a link to track the truck. I click on it and after scrolling down on this link I see it "CANCELLED" what?!? why?!? So I call the delivery company and after waiting on the phone for 45 minutes, I hang up. Call hubs, he says "let me go, just got a text" That was at 12:20pm and it was a phone call from Lowes saying the Dishwasher didn't come in,...Next Wednesday. Now, is this on Lowes or the Company that does the deliveries?? Anyway you look at it, they need a better system! In this day with Computers, there should be no reason that there is not better communication between Lowes and XPO Delivery. I blame both and so, I guess I will be taking another day off eventually!! Also all out there that purchase the warranty, beware. We bought ours, which begins the day the day but the appliance. However, going on 1 month of purchasing and not receiving the appliance is one month of the warranty. So, now, the warranty is good for 4 yrs 11 months. BS since we bought a 5 year warranty.
