Horrible experience. Bought a 8 foot casting net at Dick’s, was cost $120 roughly. And I made a return today without receipt, and they just refunded me $21. I asked the reason for that, they just answered this is the rule. They could check the purchase records for how much money I paid it for. But they did not do anything. Just told me “this is the rules”. The staff are unprofessional and rude. I have been shopping in Dick’s so many years, I’m so disappointed now. I will never spend money again there

returned items that were the wrong size. Scott at the register handled the return and reorder. It is very rare these days to find a young person that is courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I will go back to Dicks because of workers like Scott. very impressed.

This store has everything! For sports gear, everything is laid out nicely. For clothes, I feel like I have to search a little. There are the same types of items in multiple locations and it would be helpful to compare if they were together, especially because some cost more than others. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend but search for some coupons before your trip!

The craziest thing happened. I called the store to inquire about a fishing pole. There was a stated qty of 1 on the website. My experience with most stores these days has been to call, speak with someone who puts you on hold for an hour, then transfer you to someone else and say we don't have it. When I called I was transferred to Chris. He told me its not his department but he was going to walk to the fishing dept. and take a look. He then explained that he was not going to put me on hold. Rather, he would leave the phone of the hook on his desk while he went back and checked so my call was not accidentally transferred or disconnected. He came back and said, "We have it". "It will be at the front counter when you come to pick it up". I got in my car, went to the Huntington NY store and low and behold there was a rod waiting for me. The five stars by the way are for Chris. I'm not sure others would have put in the extra effort. Thanx Chris. It rained today so I won't be fishing but I will be back for new gear.

Dont Waste Your Time With Reservations. Called To Confirm, They Told Me To Come Down, When I Did Guy In Front Says We Dont Have Them, While Waiting For Manager On My Way To The Bathroom I Get Antagonized By An Employee (Plad Shirt, Thinning Hair, Older Man). Just Dont Bother, Alot Of Privilege And Racism In The Air Here. Wont Ever Be Back

Went in to buy sneakers for my teen. It was pretty busy with only 2 young men assisting customers. They both helped us, we decided to buy 2 pairs. They were helpful & courteous.Also, the young man named James at the register was very courteous as well.We will definitely come back to this location to shop again. :)

the store is always nice but they aren’t organized at the check out and don’t pay attention i was just over charged 10$ for an item the cashier didn’t even think to check if everything was correct and i didn’t realize till i got home and i had a super long line when going back way too long to wait. cashiers need to pay more attention i was charged 40.00 for a sale item that was 30.00

Went to buy sneakers and other items for my kids to get them ready for back to school. Daughter picked out he nike sneakers white on white. Prior to trying on the sneakers we noticed that the sneakers were previously worn. Tried to see if they had another pair but they had nine. The girl at the sneaker dept said we will give you 10% off. We get to the line to pay and we got Thomas as our cashier. Explained to him that we told we would get 10% off on the worn sneakers. Thomas said it is under my discretion if you get the 10% off. These marks are from your daughter trying then on. I was so appalled that he accused my daughter making the marks. Upper management needs to have a serious conversation with Thomas. I can order everything online and I can make sure to drop your sales and close your brick & mortar store. Sales 101 is to make sure that your customers shop your stores and leave happy. No where near that case today!!!!!!!!
