“This place has the beer. I always stop by when I'm in the area to see what unique brews they have in stock. Lots of seasonal stuff moving through here. I like to build a case or two of just crazy unique beers and try them over the course of a month.”

“This is a tiny liquor store near downtown Rochester near the intersection of where East and West Henrietta Roads intersect at Mt. Hope Ave. Anyway, they have some pretty good deals on bottled wines and liquor. If you are in a group of people planning a drinking party, each person in the group will need to bring a valid ID. Otherwise, they'll card you if you look under 21.”
“I buy booze often enough and know my way around a liquor store. Had never been to Hoffend’s before, but was in the area and it was recommended. I liked it a lot. Good selection and decent prices. Like everyone their allocation shelf was sparse, but that’s to be expected. Sales staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I’d go back if in the Mendon / Victor area and in need on liquor.”

“Located in the Hitching Post Plaza, this store has ample parking and safe access and egress via the traffic light on Rt 96. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store has a good stock of spirits and wines at various price points, with prices competitive with the big outlets. One caveat. Because of space restrictions, the store focuses mainly on domestic wines, with only a small section of foreign wines.”

Store is nice and clean. - staff is super friendly and helpful. Easy to start a conversation with them, they seem to be happy to be there. - big selection of items. You should be able to find what you are looking for. Average prices for the area. - it reminds me that I still miss Chase-Pitkin.”
“I’ve been coming to this business for over 40 years, and have always found the stuff very friendly and helpful. As far as the pricing I’ve found it to be fair for the most part. I was in the store the other day and met a very nice lady and she was very sweet and helpful I was looking for a special wine I needed for a recipe, then we started talking about food and what kind of wine goes with certain foods. I wanted to say thank you to her but I’m sorry I forgot her name, but I thought she was very kind and helpful and worth mentioning.”

Definitely a fun place to look around and learn.”
“Finding our way around our new town and came upon Chateau Wine & Spirits. It didn’t look like much from the road but step through the door and it transforms into a super store. The selection of wines and spirits is large and the prices are very competitive. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and will help you carry your purchases to your car, which I definitely appreciate. Easy 5 star experience!”

“Had a 1pm appointment time on a Friday. Took a shot and showed up at 9:30am. Receiving clerk stated that they like getting done early on Fridays so go ahead and back into door 13.That’s awesome. Putting me way ahead of schedule for today.”
“Well stocked extremely clean store. Nice sectioning off of selections so easy to find what you are looking for. Staff very friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable about different liquors, if you need a recommendation. Highly recommend.”

“Phenomenal manager there that does amazing barrel picks of bourbon! This guy is one of a kind nice and knowledgeable! They also don’t rocket up prices of hard to find bottles like every rotten store does. I just spent $700 there easily. I’d say it’s the best liquor store for store picks I have ever been too. Keep up the great work!”
“Very convenient parking. It's easy for you to go and out. I came in for a wine box, but a variety of wine boxes is not what I wasn't looking for. However, I could find something instead of walking out empty-handed. The store is small but clean and fully stocked with food stuff. The bonus star is for one additional opening hour than the other places.”
“Stopped in here to check out this cute smaller store. Loved the displays set up throughout the store. I picked up some Disoranno and Whiskey. Prices were a little more than other local liquor stores. Staff was nice and asked if they could help with anything: I would could back.”
“Great place to run in and out. The staff is not hounding you but they are friendly and courteous at check out and if you have any questions. It is clean and tidy and I like their selection. I have walked in at 8:55 p.m.( they close at 9) and they are always pleasant.”

“Great liquor store in Rochester, New York! I had a really nice selection of wines and liquors and the staff was really friendly. My wife and I drink a lot of Apothic Red Blend and I thought it was a really good price at $10.99 a bottle! We aren’t from the area but I would definitely stop here again when I am in Rochester.”
