Here's the situation. In 2014 I took out a 20 year mortgage with NEFCU, now Jovia. When making in person payments I noticed my receipts always said 30 year mortgage. On several occasions (when I felt I had the stamina to deal with them) I would try to ask to have this corrected. Never happened. Today I tried yet again and was told by the representative that it couldn't be done on her end but she'd contact corporate and ask them to help. A bit later I received a voicemail from someone at corporate saying they were contacted by me but they don't know what it's about!!! First of all, I didn't do the contacting, and secondly why wasn't the reason for corporate being contacted in the representative's message? I'm truly baffled. But this isn't the first negative experience I've had with NEFCU/Jovia. In 2015 I sat in the bank president's office while they were trying to figure out who was hacking into my account and setting up large bill pay amounts to be sent to themselves. While I was there it happened again and I was the only one to catch it. Closed my accounts on the spot. So NEFCU/Jovia, how can we resolve this? My confidence in you is pretty low. With everything computerized changing an incorrect mortgage should take less than a minute. Why have I had to keep trying for 8.5 years?

Jovia makes things very convenient, but they are very hard to work with. The local Oceanside Branch gave me the wrong information about applying for a credit card and transferring a balance. After being approved they told me the balance could not be transferred.Was put on hold for over 20 minutes today hung up and had to call back. Working on behalf of my elderly mother they're charging her 18% interest on her credit card. They said there's nothing they can do less me jumping through hoops. I'm working on pulling all accounts out of jovia and not going back ever jovia sucks.

Responding to your response. I changed this to a five star from a one star review. Great that it got resolved sad that I had to post a negative review to get Jovias attention.

For some time we have been using the large office in Westbury. We were very pleased to see this small local branch come on the scene. Each time we've visited we were given immediate, courteous and useful help. Be sure to check out their coffee.
