Compare prices beforehand. I'm ok paying a bit more than online prices in order to support the local business, but I found out I paid nearly 3x the price for cycling cleats. I won't be back.

Absolute delight to work with. Went to Merrick after a rude experience at Bike Cave. They were so nice and knowledgeable. I recommend them for all your bike needs.

From the time you walk in you are greeted by staff that's very welcoming and knowledgeable. They guided me in the right direction picking out bikes for my kids. They also have you winter needs covered with a wide selection of snow blowers and anything else you might need to fight those winter storms. I was happy to have them service my Moms snow blower when it was needed. They pick up and deliver was was a big help. They are honest and trust worthy. Check Merrick bicycles out you will not be disappointed.

Your LBS is awesome. You guys went above and beyond fixing my Cervelo P2, not a run of the mill bicycle. These guys took care of me fast, accurately and priced the labor very fair. This shop will be my go to as long as i live here.

To the most none professional business in merrick disgusting customer service. Last year took my son to buy a new bike spent 1300 dollars beautiful bike . The past 3 months front tire kept getting flat I ain’t saying one flat 4-5 in a 2 month periods same tire . The past week I decided that bike need to be tuned up which they charge 200 dollars which I was fine paying for it , picked up bike 5 days later took it home next morning front tire is flat again . Took it to them to show them and explain that it had been on road since but a service person in back of house keeps saying it’s common for tires to get flats all the time and to lose air , I ask then why is front tire always fine and not back. Anyways they decide to take a look check tube they fined there’s something in the inside of the tire causing it . They put in a new tube and send me to front of house to talk to person in front he decided to charge me it’s not the point of the money it’s the principle the whole time this was the cause they overlooked it so I can keep buying tubes . After buys 3 snowblowers and a bike there they will not see me anymore and I own a local business for 38 year with a lot more customers then them I will be sure to put the word out and give them a name that nobody will like to associate with .

Great Shop. The owners, salespeople and repair crew were top notch. Friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. It's not a factory like another huge bike shop in the area. Personal, attentive service. I put A LOT of miles on my bike and when I brought my bike in to be services, the technician asked the right questions and took the time to tune it to how I ride. It now rides better than the day I bought it. I couldn't recommend these guys more highly.

TOTAL RIPOFF.I stopped by yesterday morning to get some air in my tire and asked the guy to check if my bike needs anything fixed. He and another worker proceeded to tell me that I need a new tire (although the one I have is 3 months old) and that I need a tune up that will cost me $199.So with the tune up and tire ($100) plus whatever else they thought they could rip me off for I was told that the total to fix my bike would be around $350.My son worked in bike shop for 4 years. When I told him what these crooks tried to do, he laughed and told me about a much more reputable bike shop not that far away.DON'T TRUST THESE GUYS.

10 Plus I give this bike shop. Very welcoming and knowledgeable. So helpful. Answered my questions without feeling like we were a bother. I can't wait to spend money here again. The bikes are great. Look everything is pricey. I see that some complain of the price. Good service you spend money right?! There were some things I priced out and the bike shop was a better price than what I hadsearched. Check Merrick bicycles out.

2nd time I’ve ever been to a bike shop. Terrible service. They charge 65.00? to reassemble an e-bike just for 1 tire only to check what’s wrong, it costs 65.00 the same price if I were to ask them to fix it. Ridiculous. I asked them to not add anything just put the bike back together to the way it was and they want to charge 65.00, I mean if it’s only labor fee the most they should charge is 20.00$ tops. And I was there the whole time it only took them 15 minutes to disassemble the bike. I’m extremely mad not just for me but for future customers who would come here without even knowing walking into a complete mess. FYI, they never even mentioned about charging the same price even just for a checkup. I don’t know what to say but shame on them.

They’re all salesmen… I go in to the shop with an issue of my crank falling off (striped bolt) and they try and sell me a new chain, sprocket, tune up…. About $100 plus labor. I leave and go to brands where they charged me $50 new bolt, regressed the cranks, checked everything over, done in 30 min and fixed the only actual issue with the bike… one bolt.

Watch yourself with the Repair shop. They want to perform in needed repairs. Don't let your kids go there without adult supervision. They will try taking advantage. They attempted to tell my son his bike needed $150 in repairs. He then took his bike to brands, the only thing that needed replaced was a $5 bolt.
