About Camp Stomping Ground
Camp Stomping Ground is a nonprofit summer camp in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The camp focuses on being a good person and empathizing with others, and is device free. It creates a magical, nourishing, supportive, and fun environment. Many kids say Camp Stomping Ground is their real home, better than Christmas. It is a beautiful and supportive camp environment for lots of different kids. Campers have a great experience with goofy and fun activities and well-put-together night games. New friendships are formed, and kids have so much fun, returning blissfully worn out. The camp provides a safe, creative environment where kids can really just be kids. Campers plan their return each summer, with some attending for five years and others hoping to come back next summer.

My two kiddos have been going here for three years and are in love with the camp. They’d live there year round if we’d let them. Kind and super fun staff. Well managed with plenty of room for kid chaos. Super LGBTQ friendly and diverse campers from all over.

Wonderful place. Wonderful, helpful, supportive staff. 3 years returning. Will go above and beyond to make sure the kids will be able to attend and support families in whatever they need to get them there. Recommend highly!
