“I am very happy with A=1 Auto Body! I had damage to my right fender. They went above and beyond and filled road dings on my hood! . I noticed he even painted over scratches that i couldnt buff out. “The most knowledgeable auto shop I’ve ever experienced! My car was in for a battery check and replacement, which I received at a very fair price—but I also received a mutipage detailed analysis of other issues requiring fixes prior to my next inspection, compete with photos. Very impressive! The shop is very busy (a good sign) and well staffed with smart people who are also very funny—a big plus. The customer room is clean and inviting. I’ll be returning to fix the issues identified in the fall and encourage everyone to bring your cars here. I sent the report to two of my friends who are looking for a new shop and they said they will definitely use this excellent place!
The above was the review I posted after receiving an inspection report. I’ve now had all the work done (plus some other problems that couldn’t be detected until the car was disassembled). I’m very pleased with the attention to detail that this large, friendly—and funny!—staff provides. The shop is always humming with business, which tells you all you need to know. Highly recommended!”

“I’ve been meaning to leave this review for weeks, and I am just getting around to it now, but I used Harry to tow my car after getting a flat tire on William Floyd parkway on 7/17/24. My grandma had just died that morning, so it was the cherry on top of a terrible day. I had groceries in the car, so my boyfriend came and picked me up with the groceries. I called Harry and told him I left him an envelope of cash, with the keys in the glove box (I trusted all of the 5 star reviews). Thankfully, he did not disappoint. He got to my car in less than 20 minutes after I called him, and had it at the tire place in a half hour. I met him there, and he was one of the nicest most genuinely kind people i have ever met in my life. I’m so grateful he was the person I chose off of google to help me that day. He treated me like family and made a really dark day a little brighter.”

“So I was driving on a pretty busy road and I heard a loud pop from outside my car, then a few seconds later my tire sensor went off. I pulled over and one of the tires was completely flat.
I called AAA and a Double N tow truck came very quickly. The driver (his name was Ish) was extremely helpful. He figured out that the problem was likely a nail in the tire that had come out while I was driving. Even though it was nearly 7 PM, he said there would be someone at the shop that could fix it.
He took me to the shop and the tire was plugged in about 10 minutes for a very reasonable price (I didn't get the name of the guy who fixed it, but he was very helpful too).
Highly recommend!”

“My brother called these guys becuase I wanted to scrap my car for some cash and get the thing towed out of my driveway. They came out the next day and did what they had to do and I made some easy money on top of it.”
“Jack was very helpful from the first day I called to inquire about getting my vehicle repaired after someone hit me. Samantha at the front desk was also very helpful and went above and beyond to secure my rental car. The other person's insurance company is a terrible one (integon) and she made sure I got a car equal to the value of mine while they work on my vehicle. So far they have been great. I will update the review after my vehicle is fixed, but I am confident they will do good work. I recommend this place, nice people ?.”
