Finally found a pharmacy open on Thanksgiving, my daughter is very sick and needs antibiotics. They called us and said they had the meds and we can come pick up anytime. When I arrive, they inform me that the antibiotics were out of stock and on back order...now it's too late to find an open pharmacy and we have to restart the meds next week! Some simple communication would have prevented all this!

I have only one think to share ! Pharmacist at CVS in Middle Village amazed me with patience,profound understanding, and immediate effort to help. I was desperate and helpless, this one female pharmacist literally saved my life. She is a great asset to the company and the industry. Empathetic and very professional at the same time. I am sure life will be kind to her. She is a perfect example of the pharmacist/ healthcare worker l always imagined to be taking care of. Great human with great skills. Go see for yourself!

This used to have nice employees at the pharmacy. No more. They are changing and the situation is getting worse. The place is at 7960 Metropolitan Ave.I went today to pick up a rinse solution (prescription) due to a bad issue (infection started) on my implant. The prescription was sent yesterday by my dentist.I was there around 12:30. It was bad rainy day, but I needed the rinse. I was on line for at least 20 minutes (only one cashier) and when my turn came, I was told that the prescription was on hold and I needed to go to another window to talk to the pharmacist. I was again waiting and when my time came, the pharmacist kept me standing there for a while, with no explanation. When I dared to ask what was going on, he shouted that I already picked up my prescription and now the insurance is not paying. I was trying to explain that this was not the case, nobody picked up my prescription, but he was in rush and insisting to pay the full amount. Because I refused, he decided to call my insurance and while on the phone he shouted at me to go home and come back after 2, because the pharmacy was closing at 1:30. I looked at my phone, it was only 1:14 and I asked him to please make it before 1:30 because I couldn't come back, having a flight this afternoon. He didn't want to hear and again, in a rude manner, he "swooshed" me home. My luck was that my insurance carrier solved the issue in 2 minutes and after he hanged up and the prescription was approved, he again shouted at me to move and take a sit. He also shouted to "relax, it's only a rinse" (but this rinse can stop my infection and save my implant!)I am a 68 years old woman, he is a young guy (his initials are SH-I think his last name was Hong) and he was extremely rude, inpatient and impertinent, in a place where he supposed to be professional and nice, dealing mostly with seniors who come for medication, not to have disputes and entertainment.HORRIBLE attitude!!!!

pretty bad service at pharmacy, new customers don't go to this pharmacy, the front desk staffs call Maloney on cvs pharmacy was very rude! I was on line and infront of everyone, she ignor me and said mine gonna take long time and calling other customer to go first, without noticing me anything, she just ignor you even you are on the line she will call someone who's not on the line to go infront of you! Just because you are new customer and might take longer process.

Be aware of this CVS--was profiled at this location. An employee asked me if I was going to pay for my items while I was walking down the aisle but didn't ask the white people next to me.

Came to get an ear cleaning should have been an in and out thing. Instead I got an ear full of advice I didn't really need or ask for. Was already fully planning to go see a ENT doctor if the cleaning didn't make me feel better just figured I do the easy solution first to see if that's all it was. I didn't need to be shamed for coming to a CVS clinic first. Not to mention the women didn't even want to clean out both my ears just did one. Could have done with out all the 10 minutes of health questions as well as again just an ear cleaning. No point in knowing my who family medical history.

Went today to get a covid test. The nurse was so rude and made do the test myself and put the specimen in a bag. While she was talking in he private phone. So disappointed. After she asked me to wait outside one hour to get the results. She made me feel like I was not paying for the service ? I will never come back to this cvs

this COVID testing site is the absolute worse !!!! They don't go by appointments, it's 1st come 1st serve The female worker could is super slow and is ALWAYS on her phone with personals calls when I come for testing in the morningEXTREMELY unprofessional, will not come back to this location again.

Very rarely I write reviews. But twice I have had the same problem and it just has rubbed me the wrong way. The young man that works at the pharmacy with the black hair. Twice I have queued up to ask a question. And twice he has told me to stand to the side, leaving me there waiting until another staff member comes . The questions I asked should be simply answered for a staff member, where are Covid test?, where do I go for antibodies test? This guy needs to either learn his role as employee or move on to another career where he doesn't deal with the public .

If I could I will live 0 stars for that place. Last 4 years with this pharmacy was nightmare. They never listen to customers,constantly wrong orders are made for pickup. If you run with less drug then make several excuses contacting the doctors. The entire list of complaint it's never ended. I am grounded with this company as my insurance for long term medicine is with them. I take my business to different locations but I think will be the same as CVS never care for the customers like small family owned pharmacies that I also use for everyday without any problems for 26 years !As long as my Union insurance will keep business with them I am grounded. That is so bad.
