Visited Middle Village Bagels around 11am this morning, my 1st time. It took forever to place my order: a toasted everything bagel, cream cheese, lox, red onions, and capers. My check somehow came to over $17, way more than I’ve ever paid. Then I noticed a “service fee” on my receipt??? I asked the cashier and he said it’s automatic unless you pay with cash. SUPER SNEAKY!!!I paid with cash and it still cost me $16.60, that’s $5.50 more than I usually pay for the same exact bagel at A and S Bagels in Franklin Square. So I’m waiting and the guy before me gets his order. He sits down, unwraps it, brings it back, say it’s not his. The cashier says it’s mine. I look at him like, okay, so now what? Does he expect me to eat a bagel someone else touched??? What is he nuts? Then a second cashier says I’ll make you another if you like. OF COURSE, you’d better believe you’re making me another!!! More waiting. I finally get my order and leave. Once home, I open it and discover they forgot to toast my bagel. Plus, it was not nearly as big or tasty as what I usually get. What a lousy experience. I can’t recommend anything. RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED!!!!

Best bagels in Queens??? Well they were good, probably the best because everywhere else has gone so down hill. Tough parking though (like everywhere in Queens.) Bus stop right outside with a cop sitting there shooing everyone away.

I placed an order of a role ( breakfast sandwich) with scrabble eggs with onion and tomatoAnd a bagel with cream cheese with a side of hash browns and bacon ..They made my bagel ( COLD ) with a half frozen hash brown and cold dry bacon in it . The most disappointing part was even the break fast sandwich was made horribly incorrect. They put RAW cold onion and thick slicked tomato in my sandwich I had to take it all apart to eat it . I spent $30 on this. I typically go in for my breakfast. But this was the first and last time I place a order on line . It’s obvious who ever they have making the sandwich and bagels is lazy and possibly heavy set with no concern for those who place orders online .

You haven't had a bagel until you had a bite of this one.. I've tried a lot of bagel shops here in New York but this one is one of my favorites next to a few others... You get a lot for the pricey pay for these little babies. The surface is great and the ambience is welcoming and each and every bagel is delicious and you're never disappointed. Come here in the morning because it gets crowded or come here on your break because anytime a good time for a bagel.
