I have never left here feeling anything but amazing. Jess and her team are all incredible people whose naturally warm and welcoming personalities create an atmosphere that is fun and relaxing, yet professional. Jess, who’s been cutting my hair for years now, is particularly assiduous, detail-oriented, and intuitive. If she thinks it will look good, I do it, and she’s never been wrong. Don’t let the particular aesthetics of the salon and its stylists make you think they might not understand what you want. As a run-of-the-mill preppy gay guy I can personally attest to their mastery of many different styles and in-depth knowledge of current trends. In my opinion, they’re everything a high-end salon should be without any of the negatives (pretentiousness, inflexibility, etc…) that often come with it. Thank you Jess and team!

Been going here for quiet a few years and always have the best experiences. I myself am loyal to Lisa, she always takes the time to consult with me about what my primary goals are for the cut or color and never ceases to amaze me with the results. Before coming to Alloy and meeting Lisa specifically I had always had traumatic experiences with people not knowing how to cut my texture of hair or cutting too much length off when I've expressed how attached I am to my length. Lisa and the girls at Alloy always take the best care of me and the results are always amazing. From cuts, color, and even styling my hair for my wedding every look has been flawless. I will honestly never consider going to any other salon because of how incredible the service is here. It truly is a wonderful place. I would give it more stars if I could.

Went in for an updo with Jessica and she was wonderful! She went above and beyond, I could not have received better service. If I didn’t live across the country, I would come back for more services. Great people, great atmosphere, and I highly recommend.

A HIDDEN GEM IN MIDDLETOWN!!!! Omg 1st time going to this place after years of being scared to get my hair done, but Christine did an amazing job and left me feeling soooo beautiful. The place was so cute and clean, which is rare at least for me to find in Middletown. Highly recommend for people who might be intimidated to go to a new place, very friendly and welcoming energy the moment you walk into the door!! LOVEEEE LOVE LOVE it here.

Jess is a Master who listened to each of my crazy requests. She then worked with me, explaining when my vision was unattainable due to texture, cowlicks etc... to create the most amazing head of natural curls I've had in over 60 years!!!

Hair cut is good but just not for me. Way too much length cut after I thought I was specific about how short I was comfortable with. My chest length hair now barely hits my shoulders, and I was not looking for such a drastic change - way to short for me!

The whole vibe in this women-owned small business salon is chill and cool. All of the ladies are great at what they do. I personally see Lisa for anything I need done. She's so friendly, knowledgeable and honest. She really knows her stuff. Lisa is amazing with cuts, styling and coloring. Her creativity and genuine care for her clients and their hair health is beyond words. I will always choose Alloy and especially Lisa for anything I need. Highly recommend and loyal customer for 5+ years.

Curly cut Lisa Hair cut is cute however she cut 5to 6 inches of length after I was very specific about how much I was comfortable with and I showed pictures. I did not request to have that much length cut and if your going to take that much you should check with client especially after saying you do not want short hair! My chest length hair now barely reaches my shoulders. That was a years worth of growth. So cut is cute but not for me.By the time I realized what she did it was too late. At least I will not need another haircut for a year.

A treasure in Middletown! Beautiful, welcoming space, and talent coming out the woodwork with these stylists. I see Christine, who is a magician with vivid color, and does a beautiful cut. I was recommended by a close friend to this place that has been seeing Jackie for quite sometime. Me and my girlfriend love this place and couldn't recommend coming here any more, they really need more then five stars for this place. The studio is so clean and the staff is so inviting even for me a city boy that's completely new the the area. Been only cutting my hair here now for a while, Jackie and the staff do a fantastic job on clean shape up lines you would thing they came straight from a Dominican barbershop. Also if you dont know what to do with your hair they give the best ideas for giving you a brand new look that make you feel like a completely new or person, or making you feel even more like yourself. Definitely come here you won't regret it.
