T.A.R.A came recommended by a family member and must I say, the staff here were super friendly. The staff explained everything in detail. They get booked up fast so plan ahead of time! Super affordable.

Very happy with the actual procedure and the price. However when I called to check on my pet and ask what time her surgery was I was given a less than stellar response. These are people’s pets and just because we are utilizing a low cost service doesn’t mean we don’t deserve to have our questions about our pets answered. Also- extremely slow drop off (the line to drop pet off took close to 2 hours). Can’t wait to see how long picking the pet back up takes when we go to get her this evening- at 7pm- not the 5:30 time we were initially told.

Was super super nervous but all of the staff was extremely kind which was reassuring. Drop off 8 am and pick up 5pm. No pain medication to bring home for my cat but he was absolutely amazing during his recovery which was literally 2 days. Definitely worth it for the same services your vet will offer at a raised price

The staff was very friendly and caring. They are more than happy to lone you a leash when you forget your pets leash.Prices are great and reasonable.

I used the place to get my puppy neutered. My 15 year old dog got sick and needed some attention. It was time for her to go to sleep. I called this place and got put on hold. When I finally got to speak to a person, they told me that because my older dog was not a patient that they could not help me. So much for an animal hospital. This was 1 hour before they closed! Where is the compassion??

I have used Tara as an alternate resource to traditional veterinary services. Usually they are compassionate about the animals that are brought here. However today I brought my dog to have her yearly shots and was immediately met with a discerning attitude from the nurse. Once inside we waited for 30 mins even though we were the first person in line. Once they brought my dog inside I had asked them to cut her nails. Instead of using their experience to let me know that my dog wasn’t cooperating with the nail trim and putting it off until another day they cut all of her nails on the front paws too short and all were bloody. Instead of having the animals best interest in mind they had money on their mind and continued to perform the service at less than acceptable results. I am very disappointed in the service that was provided to me today. I hope they can address the issues and go back to the principals they had when they began their clinic.

I scheduled for two of my dogs to get spayed and neutered for June, however, I was called today to see if I can reschedule their appointment for earlier in the week. I said I could not due to my work schedule and I had already requested off the day from work the day my dogs were going to get neutered. The person I spoke with said the doctor had requested to cancel some appointments and my name was highlighted for a cancel. I tried to offer other days for their appointment but was told that "we don't do those services Thursday's and Friday's or that the following week is the only week of the year we're closed". I was told if I wanted to reschedule their appointment the next available appointment was until October. I had scheduled this appointment back in March. This is totally unprofessional and I felt that Stacy did not try to work with me at all, she only offered me either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday to come in when I was called only two days before the days they wanted me to come in.
The fact that I had scheduled my appointment 3 months before hand and had already planned my days off from work for them to just completely cancel my appointment is unacceptable. My appoint was scheduled for 7:15 AM!

TARA is an answer to prayer. They really care about the well being of cats and dogs.
More people would adopt pets if healthcare was not so expensive. The veterinarians are so expensive, I know they have overhead costs to maintain but they charge so much that ordinary people can’t afford to care for their pets. Unfortunately, we are at their mercy. How sad, these vets dedicate their lives to helping animals and they make it impossible to afford.
I have been caring for @30 cats by giving them a safe home, food & fresh water and most of all lots of love and respect for the amazing, loving creatures God made them to be. Having them spayed/neutered at $400 a pop is not an option for me.
Thank God for TARA!!!??
