Janna did an amazing job with my daughter's birthday photos. She made us feel very comfortable ? and we didn't feel rushed. I've had experienced before where my needs weren't met fully but they have some new amazing photographers there. Do not hesitate to give it a try. Her energy, dedication was awesome. I was very pleased. She's a people person and very respectful ? manager was awesome and they are great with their jobs.

I booked my appointment for 12:15pm and received an email stating the time was changed to 2:30pm. I didn’t know they could just change your appointment time without contacting you. I tried calling the studio to confirm the new time but was directed to LifeTouch (a third party company) who knew nothing about my appointment time. I showed up at 2:30pm for the new scheduled time and was told my appointment was at 12:15pm. I almost burst into flames of anger because my daughter’s newborn photos weren’t gonna be done today as planned. I explained this to the woman and she was very helpful and still let me get the photos done. She was WONDERFUL and was so patient with my daughter! The only thing I wish I did differently was ask for more than 2 poses.. but overall I am very happy with how the pictures turned out!!! A private photographer would’ve costed around $600 for strictly digital photos.. JCPENNY has good packages for digital and physical canvases I highly recommend.

My daughter and her fiance went there recently to have their engagement photos done. When my daughter sent me the link to the digital album I was very disappointed and she was as well. In several of the photos she had a very noticeable strip of hair hanging over her eyebrow and in one of the photos you could see she was wearing a blue bra. Her fiance had the "ducktale"sticking out of the back of his head in several of the photos also. It's a shame for the price she paid to have these photos done nothing can be done about it to compensate because it was a digital album . If the photographer had been more observative and paying attention to detail these would have been worth the money !

If I could give zero stars I would. I have spent days trying to get ahold of someone to get my DIGITAL pictures and HOURS on the phone and still have nothing. They lied on the phone about how much the pictures cost as well. I paid for 3 digital pictures but then was told I would need to pay more for them. It cost me over $80 for ONE digital picture . Nothing but a headache I would NEVER recommend anyone get their pictures takes with Jc Penny ever. Go to your local photographer and get good customer service and don’t get ripped off by JC PENNY. The only good part of my experience was the photographer she was very sweet and took time to help me take a nice picture. Other than that terrible experience will never use again.

I have been to this studio multiple times since I was a kid and have never had a bad experience. I will say there is a wait on busy days especially weekends I’ve noticed but anybody with common sense would know places get backed up I know most people are off on the weekends as well as myself. My pictures always turn out beautiful. I recently had my pictures taken of my family by a young lady there who was very rudely disrespected by another customer in the studio while I was there. I feel the need to call out this person who has cowardly written a review (not disclosing his real name, clearly) also saying vile things about this young lady who I personally have always had a wonderful experience with. Everyone in the studio had heard what that man said to her and were absolutely disgusted by his words and I quote calling this young lady a “c**t” and “animal”. I could never understand what possessed this man to lie and say these disgusting things to another human being. I will continue to use this studio for all of my photography needs and highly recommend to anyone. And as a reminder please be kind to others, rude is ugly.

Been using this JCPenney for Christmas the past 3 years. Haven’t had a bad experience until this year. We had the first morning appointment but waited 20 minutes until they were ready. Very little help with picking out pictures and cards. It’s been over 2 weeks and despite a notice the holiday cards were “shipped” 5 days ago, they still are listed as simply label printed awaiting shipment. Unfortunately not the great experiences I’ve had in the past.

What a beautiful store with the most outstanding staff! Ashley went above and beyond to accommodate me even though i was running late. She was able to take me in and get my pictures of my family and I quick as ever, and they ended up coming out beautiful. All the staff were supper nice and greeted me with big smiles on their faces, ill most definitely be returning!!!

JCP should be renamed CCP because 99.9% of their products are made by Uighur slaves in concentration camps in China. And beware of their mattresses - they are not NEW, they are refurbished. Who knows who died in them before they added formaldehyde to 'clean' them out. I know. I purchased a Sealy mattress on sale from them that flattened in 1 week and the odor nearly killed my kitten causing feline asthma. I sued in court and won $3,000. Yet, getting that $3,000 from JCP is just like getting my tax dollars back from the Ukraine before they're money laundered and brought back to the US spanking new to a select elite - and that ain't us!Just keep away from JCP-CCP and I guarantee you'll have a better quality of life.

It's great to see this store up and running still, followed by the other closet in Danbury, in terms of the Hudson Valley. Well maintained on the sales floor with no issues to me with recovery, well cleaned and stocked. Retail doesn't seem to be the same as it use to be, as not too many sales associates are on the floor, and finding assistance can be a side hassle. I was happy to see one employee ask how we were doing and need any help, and said no thank you. Things could be improved slightly, but anything for great manners goes a long way.The location is okay for the most part.

There's a disgruntled old lady that works in the children's department that is absolutely miserable and gives horrible customer service. I observed her even telling a single dad buying clothes for his toddler daughter that he couldn't take her to the dressing room..other than myself and my wife there were no other customers. I'm not sure who this lady reports to..but I do see a lawsuit coming in the near future..Especially if this is a representation of JC Penny...

The hair dresser gave my son the worst hair cut ever as you can clearly see in the photos. Not to mention the lady was eating sardines while doing his hair and she was licking her fingers and touching my kids hair. Another red flag was she stopped mid hair cut to cut her toe tails because they were "itchy" so then she finished and she made me pay $65 and wouldn't give me a refund.

Amazing experience. I came here with my wife and child for Communion photos with my daughter, and the whole ordeal was phenomenal. The staff helped us select different backgrounds that complemented my daughter and made us feel welcomed. Our photographer was FANTASTIC. The photos came out so beautiful I could not help but get the whole digital album. Thank you for the good experience!
