The service is excellent. They treat you like family and they do not overcharge and their prices are very reasonable I moved up here at 92 that's when they was on lake avenue and I've been the world customer ever since Nevada issue never had to take the car back I will highly recommend Rick's Auto and thank you for your expertise and courtesy and all that good stuff

My car battery completely died today and I got amazing service at Rick’s! From the quick tow to the shop to the friendly service on the phone and at the front desk to the quick service, everything was smooth and easy and I was back on the road in no time. I’m from out of the area but if I lived near Middletown I would absolutely use Rick’s as my mechanic. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Ricks has been an established and well known automachenic and towing business in the middletown, ny area for over 20 years. My experience as always been professional, courteous, and pleasant until yesterday! My elderly mother was in an accident and her vehicle was towed to this location on Montgomery St. The receptionist/owners wife Michelle was nothing but Rude, inconsiderate, and lacked the basic competency to handle a business! Prohibiting My mother from accessing the contents of her car such as the insurance card, registration to show proof of ownership, and requesting a copy of her title to process the release of her car to the body shop are just a few of the unnecessary demands and actions taken by this establishment. Thankfully I was able to have her car moved within a few hours! This car was not a crime scene nor is my mother a criminal. Accidents are scary especially for someone who never has even had a Ticket in 50 years of driving! I recommend when quoting a Law and attempting to enforcing it know which Law you are referring to! Also compassion and patience goes a long way! This review could have went different. Hopefully it impacts change and the OWNERS not the corporation evaluate who interacts with the PAYing customers to keep their business thriving!

They held my personal belongings in my car when it was not abandoned they are looking at a law sue and the shelter things like pictures of my daughter id ss card and high prices I'm just a poor kid

Wife heard squeeling noise when making a left turn...She had brakes done a few months ago at a different shop. Rick's said the rotors should have been changed also (that is what they usually do). Rick's said no need to do right away, everything is safe but come back in 6 months to check again. COST $0.00. Who does that?

This Is the only shop I’ll go to!!! Have never had an issue. They strive for excellence In customer service & are very, very honest. I don’t feel comfortable anywhere else In Middletown. You feel like family here. The other shops are overall horrible

Rick’s Auto is an amazing shop! The owners are honest and trustworthy! They will always tell it like it is and what your car needs. The prices are awesome, but what shines the most is their transparency and personable attitude towards their customers! I am a woman and in the auto world WE are always taken advantage of! I can honestly say coming here especially if you are a woman you won’t get jerked around like other mechanic shops!
