could spend hundreds of dollars there BUT they are EXTREMELY UNDERSTOCKED. STAFF is very low and often there are ling waiting lines. New Staples app is hard to use. It seems that they are really trying to go out of business. Recently with about 20 people waiting there was only one person in the copy/ship center. Instead of helping people in line one clerk just slowly taped up Amazon returns. Some stock has been vandalized and not corrected even when reported to employees. Employees also do not seem to be able to put stock in the proper places with the result of expensive items being put in bulk under sale item tags. Corporate seems to be out of stock on many items as well so one can't even place an order there. IS STAPLES GOING OUT OF BUSINESS?

Staples What a Train wreck!!!!!!!! I usually order from Amazon. However I was in the middle of a project and wanted it right away. So I figured I would try Staples. Big, big mistake. I created an online account and placed my order at 10 am. I had meetings until around 1:30 pm. At 1:45 I headed to the store on my way to pickup my granddaughter from school. In the store I waited patiently at the counter for 15 minutes. Then went to the register and politely asked for help. After some more time I had to leave to pickup my granddaughter. Called the store while I was in transit. Took them 20 minutes to answer asked if They were still backlogged they said no. Returned to the store waited again only to find out the order hadn't even been picked. Left and cancelled my order. I won't say I will never shop there again but they will be my last choice.

Staples now has Amazon returns and the process is seamless! Literally just walk in, scan the barcode on your phone and they give you a receipt. Easy and quick! I absolutely love this addition to Staples. I hope they keep it for many years to come!

When ordering from Canva, be advised: this store is brand new at this. I called to check if my Christmas card order was ready for pick up. They said it would be completed the following night. I told them I wouldn't be able to pick it up before another day. After that based on the holiday, I arrive the following day to pick up the order and they said that not only was in our printed, they couldn't see the order in their system. There were probably four other people in the store, also having issues picking up printed orders from canvas and the associate insisted that everyone in the store was brand new, and didn't know how to use the system. At one point, they started printing the order, and it was several sizes too large (we ordered 5x7 postcards and they started printing posters of our Christmas card) we eventually sorted it out, but I will be sure to send Christmas cards elsewhere in the future.

On Tuesday, I went to the Middletown, NY store in the hope of completing a small project I was working on. The print/ shipping area was very busy and the two associates were doing a good job of assisting people as quickly as they could. I had the great fortune of asking Philip if he could help me. He was fantastic! He was patient and professional. He didn't seem stressed, while helping me and helping other customers as well. I will happily return with any new projects. He provided a perfect customer service experience and my work came out exactly as I had hoped that it would!

Corey is super patient and kind, I had a ton of product labels to print out and he scale and fit the images to print properly, he doesnt rush and has a calm spirit. Thanks for the help!

We were looking for school supplies last Saturday June 2023 when we ran into the the best STAPLES staff ever. The Middletown NY Staples staff have a philosophy that goes beyond helping most consumers. They go above and beyond. One example is ALEX DiCarlo Rivera. ALEX is probably the most knowledgeable Staples Technical Associates in New York. He helped us get the best prices for a color printer, and even assembled a Hyken office chair for us. ALEX guided me as I installed the Staples App on my cell (YOU MUST GET THE STAPLES APP!!! The savings are significant) Please ask any Middletown NY Staples staff to help you as they are all extraordinary.

Staples is usually in stock with the items we need when we need them. We don't come here for anything out of the ordinary. We were up in Middletown and needed to make a quick stop. Pulled into the largest strip mall ever and actually had to ask where they were. Once we pulled around all the buildings we made our way there. Plenty of parking and a very large well stocked store. The cashier answered a few questions for us and we quickly found what we needed. Team members are always helpful and pleasant to work with. These days I am finding fewer and fewer team members around the isles which definitely puts a strain on those who are there. It was a very quick visit getting exactly what we came for. After our quick transaction, we were on our way. KUDO's to the team here at Staples.

Awesome employees!! Zilera and Amber are amazing and go above and beyond to get the job done!! Give these girls a raise$. However difficult the task they can do it Cameron is Awrsome!! I had a difficult task and this guy crushed it give this guy a raise as well!!$

Store in the maps and over the phone says it's open Monday-Friday 9 AM - 7 PM. I got here at 6:25 PM and it was closed. Walmart staff didn't know why. This was an emergency shipment - thanks Fedex!

The manager who was there today was so sweet and helpful. He went out of his way to get a ladder to search for the specific notebook that I was looking for and tracked it down very quickly. When I asked the sweet lady at the register what his name is because I am a huge fan of great service and like to give kudos to efficiency workers , she said Mike O. the manager. Mike definitely knows his store.

Rude employees first of all, they have 5 printers and 1 was working, another customer let an employee know and she said she had to come check them out, she continued to do what she was doing and never came, there was 2 employees over there at the time and none of them tried to do anything at all. The customer that was using the one printer that was working was yelling at everyone to get away from the printer and that even if it didn't look like she was using it she was?? So you'd think by that point an employee would step in and try to do something. So annoyed I figured I'd just buy a printer because they had a decent one for $60, get up to the checkout line and another rude employee steps into the conversation trying to force me to buy packs of ink and laughing that I'm only going to be able to print a few pages like okay buddy relax I didn't know how much ink comes with it so ended up walking out and said I might come back and he goes "better hurry up" what does that even mean ......

This store has the worst customer service I've seen. How do you have staff working in the copy/print area that don't know how to operate the equipment?? I placed an order here for business cards for my hubby. We're supposed to be done by Thursday at noon. By 6pm they weren't done yet due to an issue with the print. They were promised by 5pm Friday with corrections fixed.... well here it is Saturday at 2pm and they can't tell me whether the problems have been corrected or not & they cards aren't even printed. They then asked if I could come back in an hour?? NO! Just cancel the order. Well that's an issue now too because their customer service dept in India isn't even open on weekends so o now have to wait till Monday for a refund?? Never again! Seriously in 2018 this should not be so hard.

Just experienced the worse customer service ever - stopped in at the store just before 8am. Did not see store hours sign but could see two employees standing at register. Parked got out of car the auto door did not open so I pushed I back. I was told immediately they were not open. I explained only wanted to make a quick copy which would not need assistance and it was just about 8. She went and got a manager that told me they were not open and I could not make an automated photo copy. BAD decision by a inept manager. I travel to another Staples and got my copies but I can assure you I will never set foot in this store again and as we know one tells 8xs as many people about poor customer service than good.

Extremely bad printing department equipment. Business cards were all cut crooked. Gentleman next to me had the same issue.
