I was having trouble getting my prescription from my doctor and the pharmacist stayed persistent to get my meds. It is for my heart and my insurance and policy made it ridiculously hard to get my meds. The pharmacist I believe her name was Diana saw how frustrating it was for me and how worried I was that I couldn’t get this medicine and she took down my number, she called the doctors and my insurance companies for hours doing this. She called and got me my meds. She took her job serious and took my health serious. Much respect ❤️

Went to get some passport pics for myself and my daughter. The lady asked me if it was for one or two. When I responded for two she tells me the system isn’t working and I should try the one on Dolson or come back tomorrow. Next day I go in with my son. Again the question if it’s for one or both. I said it’s just for me. She takes my picture without any issues. Later in the afternoon my daughter goes by and she tells my daughter the system isn’t working . Literally less than two hours after doing mine. I go back with my daughter 20 minutes later and she takes her picture. I asked why she told my daughter when she came alone that it wasn’t working and her answer was that the camera wasn’t charged. She opened the draw and pulled the camera out so it wasn’t charging . Apparently she takes passport pictures whenever she feels like it. Why the question about for how many people? Does it matter? By the way she had to be called out from the office in the corner where she hides. The kicker is I asked the kid for the manager and he tells me she’s the manager. Please get employees who actually want to work . Taking a passport picture did not look like an incredibly hard job. The hardest part was the waiting. Stop sending people away with the lie that it’s not working just because you are lazy!

The new female pharmacist seems to really hate her job. I never understand why someone takes a job caring for others, when they clearly don't. She's got a miserable demeanor and seems to enjoy being difficult with customers prescriptions.

This place was horrible to me. I got my anxiety/panic attack meds called in at 9am. I called them at 11 saying can they please work on them faster as id just found out my best friend died and was out of my meds for 2 days already causing me to have panic attacks. I came in a little before 1 and they kept telling me to wait and walked back and forth behind the counter until it became 1:29pm which lunch is 1:30 to 2. The lady finally came back up to me knowing what i was going through and throughout the whole conversation she showed no empathy, sympathy or even responded to my pain, crying and shaking. When she walked up as it was lunch time she said were going to lunch and i pleaded with her because id been the only one there and heard the pharmacist in the back say shed fill it on her lunch for me starting right then and when i asked if i could sit and wait since she said that the girl just fastly closed the gate in my face. Everyonee else was nice but i will say unlike other pharmacies where if you come in they say you can sit and fill it within 10-20 mins if your willing to wait they wont. I dont know the womans name but she was brown skinned with shoulder lengthed black curly hair and she has no business serving customers/patients. Ive been in customer service for 15+ years and grew up in a family owned business and i hope she either has to take classes in how to treat customers or doesnt get to keep working there as someone with such little regard what people are going through that makes them need their meds, if theyd been out of their meds and had bad symptoms due to that or if they have an emergency where they need to leave town immediately for a while and need those meds before they go with not much time to wait.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We have had to come to this pharmacy only a handful of times for acute medications. In September and December 2023 my father got surgery and the medications were submitted prior to discharge as I always check the Walgreens app to make sure they at least received the medication. The first time in September the medications took multiple hours to fill (antibiotics and 2 pain medications) and then when we got there the technician had an extremely disrespectful and downright nasty attitude with us. She only gave us one prescription which It bought was strange so I asked her if there was anything else pending and she mumbled that the other medications are over the counter and then when I asked her to say it again because I could not hear what she said she said it again like she was inconvenienced by having to help us so we walked away and I realized that they had forgotten a prescription only medication and when I called I was on hold for 30 minutes and then the pharmacist said they would need 2 hours (this was at 3pm and they close at 6pm with the medications having been there at 12p) so I told them that that is unacceptable and they need to fill the medication ASAP because 1) the medication should have been filled with the others as it was a medication that did not need to be fill directly by the pharmacist (I work at a pharmacy as a technician so I am familiar with the medications and typical procedures) and 2) the technician gave us wrong information and was not willing to tell us which medications were in the system. Fast forward to today (December 22nd) when my father had his second surgery, the medications were called in prior to our discharge at 11am as I again checked the app around 10:30am to make sure they received the medication. The medication was not ready by the time we had gotten into Middletown again (around 11:30am) so I brought him home and we waited we tried calling the store around 12pm to find out if they can have the medication done by 3pm when someone can come get them and we were on hold for 45 minutes before being disconnected. We didn’t worry about it at that time and gave some more time and continued checking the app and when 1:45 came around and the medication was not ready I decided that I was going to try to call. Knowing they go to lunch from 1:30-2:00 I waited to call until 1:59 so by the time I got through the automated system I would be one of the first calls in the queue and now here we are at 3:10pm and I am still on hold with the medication not done yet as I am still checking the app. This pharmacy would be better off closing its doors and becoming a DMV because honestly the service would be faster and friendlier.

if I could give less than one star I would. The indian women on the phone was SO extremely rude and unprofessional. She would not listen to anything I was trying to explain to her and then hung up the phone without finishing answering my questions.

I've gone to Walgreens over the last two years for their quick service with covid testing. I decided to try the other one in town (this one) since it was open with more appointments. I made a mistake. I get there, all the buttons to send or call the pharmacy are so low on the machine only someone with a sqauted car could access them. I've got a jeep so I'm high up, I got out to press the button and waited 10min for an answer then got yelled at to get back in my car. They proceeded to take my Id then not say a word to me for over 15min. Avoid coming here for covid testing if you can.

The pharmacist told me he doesn’t want to fill my prescription based on his opinion leaving me to need a hospital. This Walgreens is where you go to be told drop dead. This place should be investigated, purposely not giving patients medication because you don’t want to isn’t legal and it’s ABUSE.Update: pharmacist blamed me, yelled at me on my way out, calling me all sorts of names that were misogynistic- that is embarrassing yelling at a patient.Called Walgreens corporate and was given money to the store and an investigation is being launched.I also contacted the New York State Office of Professional Discipline (OPD).

The pharmacy is terrible the drive through is never open. The. U come in the store and you have to stand 10mins at the front before anyone even acknowledges you’re there. They never know what they’re doing and the pharmacist isn’t any better they’re just as worse as the pharmacy technicians. Everytime you have to pickup a prescription it’s an issue they always messed something up.
