Setup an appointment over the phone only to waste my time driving there to be told they have no record of the appointment and refused to take care of mounting the tires. Not to mention it takes about an hour to reach them by phone since nobody ever answersService: Tires

Auto center is absolutely terrible...Told me on the phone had 2 brands of my tires in stock, told them I would be in at 5, said fine... Showed up at 5 and was told they didn't have what they told me was in stock and was out of the other brand also. I looked tire up on line and showed 3 brands in stock... Employee said inventory hasn't been right in 15 years... Asked for store mgr., Was told he was off, asked for asst. mgr, brought a safety mgr...he said they didn't have any in stock.... Asked for a store assistant manager and a guy came over, not in anything saying Walmart or Name Tag...he checked inventory and said they didn't have any.... I said how fair is this? You tell me you have my tires, your in-store inventory says you have it and you don't...all they said was sorry.I called Walmart HDQ, they assigned me a case# on Thursday and still have had no response...I would stay away from Walmart Automotive in Newburgh NY

So lets start with I had a bad alignment which caused my tires to be worn out in the inside before the outside. When I looked all four tires were showing metal which is extremely dangerous. So because of this I bought four new tires from Walmart including installation. I dropped off my car while on lunch went back to work and when I went back to Walmart before they close. They didn’t even install it. I checked my phone and I didn’t receive a phone call about it or anything saying they couldn’t install them. When I spoke to the employee he said sorry forgot to call. I was like listen I live 35 mins away and now I have to drive home again with tires that are on metal which is Dangerous. Do not use them Dog and Pony show over thereService: Tires

Horrible customer service. Both Monroe and Middletown auto centers suck! This is the second time my husband and I go here to try and get a tire changed and we arrive around 5:30pm and are turned away. When they’re supposed to be open till 7pm. We went to Monroe and were told by the worker “Im alone and I am already passed my time.” It was 5:27pm!!!!!Go to Middletown and arrive before 6. We were going to be helped by a guy and then a girl walks by him and says “oh I am leaving” so then the guy says “oh well then me too, come back tomorrow” it’s disgusting the customer service here. This isn’t the first time this has happened but we figured we give it another try. I had to order my tire online and the tire is in my trunk I literally just need the tired swapped out. Very upsetting!!!!!

I went here because everywhere else was charging double the price. The service was professional and friendly. The manager does a great job with her staff. I also got my tmps changed for a ridiculously low price and got my headlights buffed and cleaned. I highly recommend them. Make an appointment, go early. They do a great job.Service: Oil change

Barely able to get through on the phone. Hardly staffed. Always a longer than expected wait time. I only go there because it's convenient to use the Walmart credit card on larger purchases if I am unable to cover the entire costs upfront, if it wasn't for that I would definitely go elsewhere. Also because I've been able to get pretty good prices on new sets of tires for the different cars I've owned over the years. But it is definitely NOT the same experience at this place as it was prior to COVID. They could really use more staff, as well as knowledgeable staff. It's really not too reassuring when the guy who's supposed to pull your vehicle in to do work on it doesn't know what a manual transmission is. Asked me what the trick to start my car was. I said "it's a stick you need to step on the clutch." He looked at me dumfounded. Smh. Lucky the older gentleman that's been there a while knows how to drive a manual transmission. I could totally understand someone not knowing how to drive a manual car and working at a car shop, but to work there and not even know what one is, seems a bit ridiculous if you ask me. Phew ???

Does anyone even look at these reviews, Middletown Auto care associates are the worst, hope someone in corporate sees this review, there has to be some changes made in that Department before one of these associates targets the wrong person and Walmart ends up on the losing side of a bias lawsuit. We had a tire blow out due to lack of simple maintenance on Rt17 near here. I do not remember the guys name but he stayed late to help us and was a joy to deal with in a traumatic situation.

please don't come to this place if you don't want to risk your lives. One day after replacing the tires a noise started in the car and we realized that they had left the lug nuts loose. I could have had an accident. What level of irresponsibility!!!Service: Auto tire replacement

I purchased 3 tires. Issue #1 they ended up cancelling my order for no reason so I had to repurchase my tires for them to say they found my tires that they claim they didn’t have that’s why they cancelled. After that 1 of them ended up getting flat on me after installation the same week. When I brought it in to a shop was told I was given a faulty tire. Thank God I didn’t have my baby in the car at the time. Last but not least tried calling to exchange get a refund. Don’t bother trying to call EVER!

Overall I had a very smooth experience. Scheduling appointment was easy and they were ready for me on that day and time. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the quality of work was good, as far as I can tell. I had four tires installed on my truck. The price was very fair. The only negative was the wait time. Took longer than expected, but not unbearable.
