Orvis Sandanona Shooting Grounds provides an amazing and excellent experience for both shooting and fly fishing. The guides and instructors are incredible teachers, offering very useful pointers and great advice to help clients improve their skills. They are passionate, supportive, and educational, ensuring the day is a lot of fun. Instructors seamlessly modify the process to accommodate different needs, including for first-timers or those with ability limitations, providing genuine support and encouragement. Whether a beginner or an experienced shooter or angler, clients have a fantastic and wonderful time, often feeling an exhilarating sense of accomplishment. The overall experience is highly recommended, leaving guests confident and looking forward to returning for another session.

Maria behind the counter could not have been more helpful. I’m somewhat of a fly fishing beginner and she explain to me the features of the new chest pack fly organizer that I purchased. She also showed me on the Orvis webpage are many resources helpful to begin beginners.

Excellent. If you are coming to actually learn, you get more out of your time and money if you do private lessons--group lessons are more oriented for leisure... everything goes at the pace of the visitors. Very good opportunities for beginners to intermediates to train.
