Hard to capture in words, what a meaningful experience. 100% highly recommend! Attentive, accommodating, caring and friendly host. Clean, authentic castle experience. Every detail has been thought of! Truly worth every penny! We spent a week in upstate NY and this was the absolute highlight!

What an experience! Toni has an amazing property and an even better BnB. Her and her husband sunk their blood, sweat tears, and numerous years of hard and incredible work into this location. The artistry in every little detail is just unbelievable! No matter how many times you wander around, there is always more to see.
This is a must stay and well worth the travel. The local area is beautiful and has so many things to do and see. We already want to return. Millbrook is a small town where everyone says hello with a smile.
Rooms: Each room is so very different. We stayed at the cottage which is a small house. Other rooms like the Dungeon are so well done and just a fantastic stay that you will talk about for all time.
Nearby activities: From hiking, antique shops, farmers market, and wineries. That is only a few items within 10 to 15 minutes drive.
Food & drinks: The restaurant selection varies greatly and with wineries and distilleries so close by there is never a question of options.

The creativity and the detail are just incredible. The Wings are artists inviting us into their masterpiece. Should you go here? Absolutely, please go. And when you do, please make the time to explore the whole place.
It’s a treat that will leave you with your mouth hanging open.

The castle was absolutely charming and magical. The amount of creativity, imagination and hard work to bring such a vision to life is truly admirable. I highly recommend! If visiting, be on the look out for Rabbit ?, such a cutie pie.

Hands down, one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed! I took my husband here as a birthday gift since he likes all things medieval and we were blown away. Toni and her late husband have such an amazing story behind it all. They did a fantastic job with ensuring guests feel like they’re really in an old castle, but everything was CLEAN and appliances are all new. Highly recommend checking them out for a weekend - there are cute restaurants and wineries nearby too. We stayed in the Annex suite and it was just incredible!! 10/10

Rooms: This hotel is a unique experience. Built over time by the Wing family, lead by the patriarch, Peter Wing who tragically passed in 2014, the bed and breakfast is built in a medieval style from dismantled buildings in the Hudson Valley. Each room is unique and cozy. Must be experienced as words can’t do it justice. We’ve stayed there many times over the years and our favorite room is the Dungeon, but all are worth the reasonable rate.
Nearby activities: The most notable near by activity is Millbrook Vineyards, an award winning winery located about a half mile away and visible down the hill from the Castle. It’s part of the spectacular views of the Hudson Valley, and a wonderful day trip for the wine enthusiast or just people out for a day to learn a bit more about the “grape” from the extremely knowledgeable wine experts performing the tastings.

This stay exceeded anything I would have ever imagined. From the intricacies of the castle, to the surrounding quietness, and proximity to the quaint village of Millbrook, everything just kept getting better and better the more we explored. Toni was incredibly sweet to work with and made sure our stay was a memorable one. The history and legacy with all things Wing’s Castle is something everyone should experience. My partner and I definitely look forward to returning with friends in the future!

I can not say enough about this place, my wife and I celebrated our 12 year anniversary on October 30th and we stayed in the "chamber room" every single thing about this place is just amazing, our room was gorgeous every little detail, the only thing missing was a TV but I brought one with us so that solved that issue lol.. Once you enter this place you won't want to leave, you could spend a week there and still not have seen everything that the "wings" have put into this place. The owner Tony was great she walked us around the property when we checked in, showed us the amazing "buddah room" which the wife and I spent hours in lighting a fire in the buddahs belly surrounded by candles and the moonlight shining through the handmade stained glass windows was like heaven. We took the tour with Tony the next morning and she gave us the history of the castle and how her and her husband started building from scratch on their family's old cow pasture, 80% of the castle is recycled material that they acquired from local barns they purchased and torn down, her husband built everything with his own two hands no work was outsourced he had no prior experience with building or construction. And me coming from a family of carpenters and construction workers I was completely and utterly blown away..

Wing's Castle is a castle bed & breakfast that opened in Millbrook, New York in 2010. It was founded by husband and wife Peter and Toni Wing. Peter was a local artist who worked with all mediums. His family owned the 130-acre Wing Dairy Farm since the 1800s. In 1970, Peter proposed to his wife Toni on a hill overlooking the farm (now the Millbrook Winery). They were both 23 at the time. Peter had a vision to build a fairy tale castle right on top of that hill. Although he was a talented and experienced artist, he had no experience in architecture, carpentry or masonry. In spite of this, he read several books on those subjects and began construction of the castle. Peter built every square inch of the castle (both interior and exterior) with his own two hands and without the help of construction crews. Most of it was built using repurposed materials. Although he thought it would only take him two years, it ended up taking 22 years to complete the main building. Once finished, the Wings began charging for tours of their property in order to generate money. Later they decided to start a B&B operation. Peter set to work on creating guest rooms and other additions to the property. The castle officially opened to guests in 2010. Peter was still working on more additions when he tragically passed away in a car accident in 2014. Toni continues to live in the castle and run the B&B. Their son Charlie has helped to complete Peter's unfinished work. My wife and I stayed at Wing's Castle this past weekend to celebrate our sixth anniversary. The castle and grounds were absolutely beautiful... and a little spooky too. We had a spectacular view of the Hudson Valley and the Millbrook Winery at the bottom of the hill. We stayed in the "Chamber Room" and had a blast exploring all of the various rooms open to the castle guests. We enjoyed meeting Toni, who was just lovely. During our guided tour with her, the other guests were nice enough to let us see their rooms, which included the "Dungeon", the "Annex" and the "Cottage". My wife and I had a very relaxing stay at the castle and we would love to come back some day!

Love, love, loved this castle and the story behind it! The grounds are magical, the property overlooks a vineyard/winery, and the environment is so relaxing and whimsical.
Rooms: Stayed in the Chamber Room, which was spacious enough for two, and had a private entrance, separate nook and bathroom area, and an amazing view.
Nearby activities: Millbrook Vineyard & Winery, Hitchcock Etate Gatehouse, Wethersfield Estates & Gardens, Trevor Zoo at Millbrook school, innisfree Gardens, Millbrook township.
