I had to go to Suffolk Federal credit union in Miller Place because unfortunately I had fraudulent activity on my card. Someone had gotten my account number and charged up over $900 worth of merchandise. John Spiegelman was there to help me. He was so kind and understandingand very helpful. I’m so happy that I had him working on my case. Unfortunately, this happens pretty often, and I’m just glad that John was able to help me so quickly.

Love banking with suffolk credit union. Have had my business account there since 2020. Visit the branch often and the assistant manager Jacquie butler is always available and willing to assist with all my banking needs. Would highly recommend

Never had a problem using any of the SFCU branches. I would agree with the lack of staff on the drive-up deposit lines, which used to be more of an issue for me, but I don't use those lines anymore. Otherwise, I've taken out several loans with SFCU and have been banking here since switching from Astoria Federal (remember them?) in the early 2010s. No complaints here.

Experienced a major issue when one of their staff incorrectly paid in full and closed (allegedly) a credit card account. Only to find out several weeks later the credit line remained open against my written request, with no visibility online to manage the account at all. No communication from the bank either. Then a bill arrived with late fees charged (and possible credit score impact). Counter staff was consistently snooty and impersonal. I'm glad to move on to a competing credit union that is more professional. This bank is clearly more interested in members deposits than the actual services they struggle to provide.

Worst bank ever. Will never use another federal credit union again. Raquel in credit card services needs to be reprimanded for closing out my credit card that did not violate their policy.
