“I started bringing my Doberman to Dr. Fitzgerald as a puppy. This was after another Vet could not get a stitch out of his ear and was going to charge me $600 to do surgery. I brought my pup to Dr. Fitzgerald and she was wonderful. She took the stitch out, didn’t even charge me and charged a reasonable price for the posting once a week. She is absolutely wonderful and an expert with Dobermans”

The vet understands the pets needs and will educate you on the best course of action. Pricing is very reasonable and reward programs are available. “I really cannot say enough good things about this place. A different vet right across the highway was extremely rude and judgmental about my poorly bred rescue dogs anxiety, that I’m working very hard on with a professional trainer and daily medication. That place wouldn’t evaluate him with out a heavy sedative (which I did let them do because I figured they knew what’s best). But since finding this vet from our trainer a few months ago, I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. They are amazing with my 8 month old boy and the doctor said my dogs fine and there is no need to sedate him. very honest people who really care about animals. Also super affordable which is a great plus! Will recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks for helping Reaper and I! ?”
“My pets have been seen for many years by the team at Farmingville Animal Hospital. They have a very strong, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate team of vets and techs there that take the time to explain things to you in a way that you can understand. They follow up with text messages or a phone call to give you results on your pet. The staff calls to follow up and check in from the previous pet visit to make sure your pet is doing well. Dr Palermo, Dr Robbins, Dr Goose and now Dr Kraneburg are the ultimate dream team of doctors and all 6 of my pets are lucky to see them and provide them with the best care”

“Highly recommend. Use to take my pugs there for all the vet needs and was awhiles taking care of. Unfortunately my pugs passed. I have a pitbull now and was using another vet until my dog was in so much pain she couldn’t walk. That vet told me they can’t get her in for two weeks and if she’s in that much pain she can be on the waiting list. Minded I wouldn’t be calling if she wasn’t in pain. I brought her here the whole 6 years I’ve had her so far minded. . Called dr templeton office and they asked me about my dog cared about how my dog feels and her pain level didn’t have an app to the next day but the lady Lauren understood my dogs needs called me back and got me in the same day. Now my dog is up this morning walking and happy. And I can’t be more grateful and thankful. 5 starts all around. Everyone should bring their pets here.”

“My dog Daisy was involved in a fight with another dog, very unfortunate. After she went to the emergency vet for $500 she went to her regular vet at Banfield and got the medicine she needed, for a discounted price compared to the Emergency people. She's on their Wellness Plan and it includes all kinds of vaccines and scheduled care of the sort. It's less than $50 a month, and if your family has luck like my family, you're gonna need it. She's fully recovered now, and the other dog is out of the equation, back to their owner (we were dog sitting for about a month)”
