I’ve been coming here since I was young with my mother for her prescriptions— now I come here for my own. Progressively has gotten SO much worse. My fiancé has a deficiency where he NEEDS an inhaler and we’ve been waiting all day with no results for a refill, or even a transfer from another pharmacy. So now I guess when he has an attack we’ll just go to the emergency room and spend another couple hundred dollars on an inhaler. Absolutely miserable and undertrained/ inexperienced staffing. Not only THIS, but over a month ago, I left my apartment and got to cvs 15 minutes early to pick up my script before work— I was in line for over an hour. For a script that I need to stay mentally stable. Can’t back up with a car behind me, can’t pull forward with a car in front of me. Next time I suppose I’ll just lose my job lol. Like seriously, where did your staffing get up paperwork to fill prescriptions and answer calls? A cereal box? Someone needs to seriously do something about this cvs.

Steer clear of this CVS pharmacy. The level of rudeness and indifference shown by the pharmacy staff is staggering. I’ve never encountered such a cluster of miserable employees in my life. One star is too generous of a rating.

Expect to spend an hour getting your prescription. The staff are incredibly rude. I don't necessarily need them to be friendly but they are outright hostile. This place is also impossible to get a hold of over the phone. I spent an hour on hold just to have the call dropped by them. Called back and spent another hour on hold and the call was dropped again. I called CVS corporate who spent almost 45 minutes themselves trying to get a hold of this branch. They are clearly understaffed and the staff they do have don't seem to care at all. You will get your prescription faster driving the extra distance to Hudson or Great Barrington. Avoid this place at all costs.

For over a year now I get the same response from the pharmacy desk and the front desk managers that the “team” is doing the best they can with new employees and being short staffed. Using the app and shipping options don’t work out half the times because they don’t work it until I call them to ask why when it’s sat there for 2-3 or more days! CVS corporate needs to either get and pay people to work and stay or get out of the business. I unfortunately have $1000’s in RX every year and it’s not worth the frustration and running out because they don’t do what needed. I also recently received a prescription in an unmarked bottle! Thankfully I had some of the older RX to match it and make sure. The tag was on the bag but no sticker on bottle. Based on reviews it looks like this has been the case for 4+ years!! I’ll be looking to take my pharmacy and any CVS store shopping elsewhere.

As others have said, the store is fine but the pharmacy is awful! There were 3 CVS employees at the pharmacy when I came to inquire about a prescription. This is the same number of employees as my NYC pharmacy but somehow in Manhattan, the pharmacy runs smoothly, people actually answer the phone and they're helpful. Apparently, at CVS Millerton, 3 employees is considered severely understaffed, such that they do not respond to phone calls - even from a doctor's office (my doc was on hold for 30+ minutes) and they are unable to keep up with the volume. I will not choose this CVS pharmacy again.

The front end of the store is okay; the cashiers are generally lovely and do their best to keep things orderly. The pharmacy, however? Yikes. RUN, don't walk, to any other pharmacy, because this is the worst one. I was forced to come back for a while when they shadily bought out Salisbury Pharmacy, and the quality of service is as inconsistent as I remember. This isn't a new problem, either; I've been a regular customer since 2003, and either the service is good, and you get your prescriptions immediately, or the service is wildly unprofessional. You wait days for what you need without any apology. Please do not count on getting what you need from the pharmacy; avoid it as much as possible.

Your pharmacy needs help, badly! I had 2 prescriptions phoned in by my doctor LAST Friday. That Saturday I went to pick them up, and they hadn't been filled. I stopped by each weekday evening, and they still weren't filled. At 10am this morning (Friday... a week after the scripts were called in), after waiting in line behind 7 other pharmacy customers for 15 minutes, I was told they STILL hadn't been filled, but they would be filled within the next 2 hours. I came back more than 4 hours later and had to wait in a line of 10 people, with more queuing up behind me. At long last!!! My prescription had been filled. Thank heavens it wasn't something life or death or I would have died long before anyone had time to fill my pills. We used to have a local pharmacy in Salisbury CT but CVS bought them out and they closed that pharmacy. Now the closest option is CVS and they can't keep up with the volume. SOMEONE PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

CVS Corporate should visit this site and audit the Pharmacy Operation. I have never experienced such incompetence and inefficiencies in my life. Prescriptions require days to refill despite being listed on the much touted CVS App as a monthly or 90 day auto-refill. God forbid you should receive a text telling you to call the Pharmacy with a problem as you are looking at a minimum 30 minute wait on hold. Some have suggested not enough workers. I have been there many times where the line is almost to the front door with at least 5 people behind the counter. Still only one register open, phone ringing off the hook and workers barely capable of ringing up a simple transaction on the CVS internal computer system. I'm not going to sugar coat this with "nice and friendly employees". That isn't the point. The store is a disgrace.

The ladies in the pharmacy here are champions. They are clearly understaffed and backed up. Today i was there, people were being pretty rude and impatient, but they conducted themselves so well under pressure. Polite, direct and honest. Nothing but admiration for them and the pharmacist. People need to stop being jerks and respect the hard work these people do under obviously impossible circumstances. Such an efficient group.

We thought moving our pharmacy needs to Millerton from Canaan would improve the services. Not. And the drive up does not provide any convenience, only long waits for delays, not-ready prescriptions that the automated phoneline validated as ready and waiting. Now going to an online pharmacy service that will deliver in the mail.

The pharmacy ability to correct things is non existent. I waited on hold for 13 min to let them know their automated calling (Optimum) was calling my number regarding someone else's perscription. Can you say HIPAA violation...another law suit for CVS?

As many others have said, it's extremely frustrating trying to reach anyone in the pharmacy. I have found the people there to be polite and professional, but I've had to listen to hold music for 3 hours trying to get anyone to pick up the phone.

I have never left a review like this before.. but this place is awful for getting your prescriptions. Rude employees, almost impossible to talk to anyone, and lines are always out of control. I've waited in line for up to 40 minutes in the past. Hire additional employees if you can't keep up with the damand.

ABSOLUTE WORST PHARMACY OF ALL TIME. Lazy, unorganized and lack of actual care. Mispicked scripts, lost scripts, ran out out of scripts, etc. They call you to let you know your script is ready, then when you show up the day or 2 days after "it's ready" - "it'll be another 35-40 minutes" .. Poorly managed both inside and out. Managers fault - Not employees. Corporate clearly hasn't visited in quite some time.

Horrible service. They have multiple hours and also plenty of heads up to simply put a box of medication into a bag. Still had to wait 10-15 minutes after being jerked around for hours and also having to be on hold for upwards of 30 minutes just to speak to the pharmacy. Why does everything take so long? I get staffing issues but you have had “staffing issues” for 3 years now? I should have my prescriptions sent to pharmacy and have them READY in a timely manner. The lady even was upset about me coming WHEN THEY TOLD ME TO COME. Enough excuses we we need a change NOW.
