They constantly use unreliable shipping (USPS) that has delivered on two occasions to the wrong building. Sadly, both times my packages were stolen, and Harney and Sons has decided to penalize me and basically refuse to help me in any way. This is after almost a week of ignoring my requests for help via email. It has been almost three weeks since I’ve placed my order, and I’m constantly told that “USPS has not replied back to us” instead of actually effectively rectifying the situation. The most recent email stated “ I just wanted to follow up with you. My supervisor did not approve a reshipment of your order. Because this is the second order of yours that has been reported missing, she wants to wait until we hear back from USPS before we can move forward.”I would highly suggest to think twice before ordering. This company takes little to no accountability.Update:After considerable emails going back and forth, they are now telling me to call USPS myself and file my own complaint and are refusing to rectify the situation. Save your money, because clearly they will take it at the customer’s expense.

Amazing selection of teas, had Darjeeling that was wonderful. Had perhaps the best shrimp curry I’ve ever had. Scones and pot de crème so good!

I had heard about the tea room from my wife and pleasantly found that I needed to drive through Millerton on a solo trip, so I stopped for an afternoon iced tea and snack. Everything was perfect. They also have a shop with a huge selection of teas for sale.

Have been a loyal customer of Harney and sons for several years, but now I quit. Delayed orders, useless customer service, and lack of communication about your order. One of your customer service managers told me she would make sure my order would ship next business day and just canceled it instead, which I was never informed via email either. Big thumbs down, Harney and Sons?

Bravo Harney & Sons! I bought your cinnamon and spice tea from Dutch Brothers coffee but didn't know it immediately. I had to dig out the tea bag from the cup and found your company name on the label. I immediately ordered 50 satchels and 30 of it between your website and Amazon. ??❤️ Best cinnamon and spice ever! We hoped you'd sell a candle with the same smell.

Traveled here and the shop had so much variety of their tasty teas! I was disappointed though that the tasting room was still closed. Check on that before you head out there.

The worst online shop ever.- They cannot deliver the already paid and confirmed order, because of „technical problems.“- It took 6 days to get my money back.- They do not respond to questions, except repeating „We are sorry… We are sorry“.- They could not come up with any valid explanation why they could not deliver the product which I ordered and paid already and which they confirmed 5 days ago.- They were also not able to explain why they charged my creditcard for an item that they cannot deliver, because it was already out of stock.

Lisa at headquarters was kind enough to assist us in selling us some fine tea as we had traveled over an hour and 40 minutes to their other store 5 minutes away from it in Millerton only to find the doors closed (Google said it was opened on Tuesday).. the headquarters wasn't opened to the public just yet however she really saved the day as I had also had my mom with me visiting from Clermont.. and she too wanted the teas. Thank you Lisa. I do hope that the company appreciates your upstanding customer skills!
