“Sophia was such a great help when I came in to Lotus to look at wedding dresses. It was my very first dress appointment and the first dress I tried on ended up being my favorite! Since I like a few different styles, I found myself getting a bit overwhelmed with the variety but Sophia listened to me and was so attentive. She really learned what I liked and was able to guide me and reassure me during the process of elimination. Highly recommend! EDITED REVIEW: POST-WEDDING: I found the dress of my dreams in one appointment! I tried on I think 7 dresses and the first one I tried ended up being the winner. Before the appointment you are given access to a personal online portal where you can pre-select a few of the gowns they have available. That process was SO important in helping me narrow down my choices and realize all the elements I did and did not want in a wedding dress. All the gowns I had pre-selected online were waiting for me to try on when I arrived at my appointment, plus I was able to try on a few additional ones as well. I worked with Sophia and she was so sweet and totally understood my taste and answered all my questions and concerns. I liked several elements from different dresses and she helped me find something that had a little bit of everything I was looking for. She shared her opinions without making me feel bad and she made the whole process wonderful. I did not at all feel like I “missed out” on having a drawn-out wedding gown adventure with multiple appointments at multiple shops. That one appointment at Lotus was exactly what I needed and it helped prevent me from feeling burned out from decisions. I had my two fittings the month before my wedding and the seamstress did a wonderful job making sure my dress fit properly. My dress and veil really looked beautiful on the day of. I felt like a princess and I was so incredibly happy with everything.”

They can provide everything you need, clean, crisp and ready to make you look your best. I very much enjoyed my experience. I couldn't believe that they were able to put it together the same day for me, but I did make an appointment the day before, so they were ready. Couldn't have been nicer, couldn't have been more knowledgeable and professional, and I will absolutely use them again.”

“When it came to me knowing what I wanted for my wedding the list wasn’t that long. Other than magnetic save the dates the only other thing I KNEW I wanted was a Christie Lauren headpiece. One of my brides had one for her wedding and I immediately fell in love. We went to the Manhasset store during a sale they were running, and their professionalism and hospitality mannerisms were beyond anything I would have expected. Everyone there was so nice and helpful! I got to leave the store that day with a beautiful “Half Renni” stoned headpiece and earrings as well. My mom also found a beautiful pair of earrings as well! From subtle sparkles to dramatic and show-stopping looks, Christie Lauren's has it all!”

“Bridal reflections was the 6th (!) place I went to and the best experience I had. The store is beautiful and the fitting area is spacious. My consultant Maria A. was great. I was a little lost on what I wanted after having tried on so many things. She pulled not one but two dresses that I loved and made my family cry! And under budget. I went way over the appointment time without realizing and they were kind about it, they had someone else work with the next bride so Maria could finish up with me without rushing me. Lisa was also really helpful in helping me figure out how to add sleeves/more coverage to the dress I chose. She was very honest about what they could and could not do, not just saying “yeah yeah we can do anything” in order to make the sale. Neither of them were pushy at all. I just ordered the dress so I can’t speak to alterations yet but everyone who helped me was excellent and I would definitely recommend.”

“I was personally taken care of by Alberto Insua at this location and felt very welcomed by him. I was very nervous about going into the Rolex dealer that was also attached to and working with London Jewelers. He was warm with his welcome and took me through the models. He did not try to upsell me on models that were too expensive but he also made sure to make me feel comfortable in the fact that he did not think that money would be an issue for me. I was only 23 and I thought that the experience would be a lot more judgmental because of all the videos of people online in other dealers. However, I can say for sure that they are not true this man was the pinnacle of understanding and professionalism. I would highly recommend making a special appointment with him specifically for your first watch purchase. I was able to find the specific type of model of Rolex that I was looking for that day at the London Jewelers, and I look forward to being able to buy more with Alberto again in the future if he is still there.”

“I had an absolutely fabulous experience with Andrew Howard Dry Cleaners! I accidentally got nail polish on one of my favorite nylon Prada handbags and called Andrew Howard Dry Cleaners in a panic! Andrew immediately reassured me that they would do everything they could to remove it, although he warned me that it might be tricky. I completely understood and expected that the bag might not come back looking perfect. To my absolute surprise, just two days later, I picked up my bag—and it looked PERFECT and brand new! There isn’t a trace of the nail polish, or any sign that it was ever there. I honestly couldn’t believe the results! This is the second handbag they have cleaned for me, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. I am so grateful for their incredible work, care, and expertise. She helped me fix many parts of my dress without an additional charge because she really cares about making clothing beautiful. You could really tell that she has such a great passion for what she does and making brides feel special on their wedding day. When I last minute (the day before) decided that I wanted a veil, she offered to drop off a veil to my house to borrow. I was in awe of her kindness and desire to take care of me as a friend rather than treating me as just a client as many other wedding vendors do. Eager to find my dress elsewhere, I went on the designer’s website and saw that TWP carried the designer. I reached out to Ron to explain that I was looking for a specific dress from a designer they carried. He responded almost immediately and let me know they didn’t have the dress in-store, but that he would see what he could do. By the end of the day, Ron let me know he had worked some magic and was able to get the dress in from the designer specifically for me to try! Honestly, this is one of the best desi bridal shops in New York. If you are looking for any bridal wear, this is the place to go. They specialize in custom outfits, which is what really stood out to us. They show you a wide range of designs, and you can choose everything from the color to the type of work you want. They really bring your vision to life. For my sherwani, I went with a simple design, but they added a lot of subtle sparkle that made it stand out without being over the top. For my wife’s dress, the pictures honestly do not do it justice. It was incredibly sparkly, the handwork was flawless, and it completely stood out. When she walked in, everyone was amazed. It truly looked like a princess dress and came out exactly how we wanted. They also make sure the fit is right. I needed some adjustments on my sherwani to make it a bit looser, and they handled it without any issues. They take proper measurements and make sure everything fits well. On top of all that, the pricing is unbeatable. For custom work of this quality, you would expect to pay much more elsewhere. The quality alone makes it worth it, and the pricing just makes the experience even better. The customer service was excellent throughout the entire process. There is a reason we came back, and this is honestly the only store I trust for outfits like this. I placed the order on Sept 2021 and was told it would ship in Feb 2022. Sure enough, Phil called me this week and my mugs and bowls arrived in immaculate condition to my apt in NYC all the way from France. A big WOW, you just can't get excellent service like that from many places anymore. I am so happy that I chose Imperial China. Top notch.”
