“I've been going to Kollner's for a few years now. I tried them out on a whim when my old butcher let me down a few times. Super glad I did. I've been consistently impressed with the quality of the meats. The meat is always fresh, and you can have it cut to order.
When I need steaks for my family, we each have different tastes in steak. I can get a thicker steak for myself and my son, and then order a thinner cut steak for my wife. Everybody is happy. The steaks are fresh, juicy, well-marbled and delicious. The guys helping me are always happy to cut the meat exactly as I ask for it.
On occasion, we'll get some St. Louis ribs, they are meaty, and the end results is super tender—fall off the bone good. All-around great quality.
When, i've needed chicken, they'll fabricate a whole chicken right there in front of me. Or if I've needed thin cut breast, again, they slice it up right there in front of me.
Beef, pork, chicken, lamb—I've never gone wrong with any product at Kollner's.
The guys behind the counter have always been helpful with suggestions for how much to order or answering questions about the meat.
The prices are really fair, especially considering the quality of the products. I am happy to support this local, family-owned business and highly recommend them.”

“I've tried, their rotisserie chicken, mashed potato, and chicken pot pie. Everything tasted great, the rotisserie chicken was well seasoned with savory skin, and still juicy inside. Mashed potatoes came with a side of gravy. Chicken pot pie had a good chicken to veggie ratio, and it was kinda creamy (my favorite type). Would recommend!”
“Great assortment of meats and cheese. They also have a dry aged steak selection that's cut to your specifications, however, the butcher leaves at 5pm. I asked the deli department and they said that I could call it in and have the steaks cut and waiting for me before closing.”

“I came here for fresh meats based off a recommendation from a friend and now I can't live without this place! I ordered a pork shoulder (pernil) and asked them to season it. They season it soooo well that my Latino friends think I made it. The fresh scent of seasonings permeated through my car on the ride home, and that's when I knew I would be a returning customer! Thus, all you have to do it pop it in the oven! Ive also had their marinated chicken (raw) and I just cooked it in the air fryer. If you are looking for a quality butcher and are "street savy" enough to go to Hempstead, this is the place. They also sell oxtails, ribs, pig feet (if that's what you are into) and fresh thick bacon.”

“I went to Pat's Farm this morning and was amazed at the difference. I stopped going over 2 years ago because it had changed and the produce was not good and the store looked dirty. Today I am so excited. The produce was awesome, the employees are so helpful and the owner is amazing. The owner is changing the whole outlook of the store. She also said that she has more plans. It is clean and as I stated the produce is extremely good. Will now continue to shop there.”
“First off, I really like to give five stars to the places that I visit. But I just started going there regularly, and I need to see how things go. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable about meat. The store is clean and orderly, and well stocked. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the cut of roast that I wanted, so I took a better cut at a higher price, of course. But all said I am very pleased. “Been coming to Super Fei Long Market for a bit and they have some wonderful niche finds. There is a good produce selection and a fresh seafood counter as well. And the dumplings are great! Exploring here can get you some wonderful finds and East Asian specialties and products if you are looking for them. There is also ample parking available and the staff are friendly and helpful. I plan on returning.”
