If anyone here seems upset, it's probably because they've been dealing with unbearable customers.
This pharmacy is so busy! Most other customers I've encountered here are entitled, rude, & give everyone who works here such a hard time.
They are doing a job & are trying to help you. They are not your doctors, your insurance providers, etc.
So many people get mad because they make the trip before checking to see if their scripts are ready... That's on you - Sorry!
Everyone needs to just chill out & be patient.
We are all here for the same thing...
Just be nice.

Multiple times where my prescription wasn’t ready when I received an email/call saying that it was. Two different prescription refill trips have turned into 4.

Went on Saturday, April 5th, to get passport phots and the employee Sean who helped me was extremely helpful and nice. It made the experience much better.

Worst pharmacy on Long Island. Rude staff. You’ll wait upwards of 20-30 minutes in drive thru. They’ll confirm medications are ready for pickup and no medications are ready. Horrible pharmacy. Avoid it like it’s Covid.

Wow. My experience with Natalie (pharm tech) in the drive up window was horrible. She was rude, nasty and condescending to say the least. I came at 1:20 pm not knowing of their 1:30 break and she chastised me for not knowing this. She wouldn’t get the pharmacist for me either. Then shut off all the lights in the pharmacy at 1:25 and said nothing further and left me sitting on my car. AND BYW WHERE ARE THESE HOURS EVEN POSTED. DO BETTER NATALIE A CAREER IN THE HEALTHCARE FIELD IS NOT FOR YOU.

Dearest Elizabeth— from one medical provider to another, I sympathize with you. The fact that Walgreens is unequivocally understaffed and is too cheap to hire another pharmacist, despite the clear need for one, is out of your control. However, the way you reacted towards me, hung up on my sister, placed me on hold when I was in the middle of asking a question, spoke over me, and yelled at my sister (“I just can’t with this… I can’t”) when we were simply confirming that you had the correct phone number (because we were calling on behalf of our father whose primary language is not English) is completely inappropriate. Judging from the other reviews on here, there is a clear and unwavering patter of behavior. Patients come to us in a time of need and at the very least should be treated with respect, even if we, as their providers, are overwhelmed. I hope that both you and Walgreens choose to do better.

Super big and lots of staff. No waiting. Great for rx or vaccines with appt. Quick, easy and free. Snacks, home, health, beauty, clean and quiet.

as i make my rounds in long island to see former coworkers i pulled into the parking lot that houses a walgreens and not just any walgreens , it have a drive thru pharmacy section which in my opinion is for the lazy types . i did my meet and greet and leave in under 30 minutes and before heading back home i will grab some walgreens brand paper towels and tissue papers at 2 for 10 bucks . nice spacious size store and its well stocked as well and damn its not the flu season but the pharmacy dept area is crowded. got my stuff and grabbed a soda and bag of pretzels for my snack drive back to astoria. its a long island typical walgreens and that ok in my book .

Horrible service 20 minutes to help one person through drive through. They take forever. The worst use cvs there better and cheaper.
