Dearest Elizabeth— from one medical provider to another, I sympathize with you. The fact that Walgreens is unequivocally understaffed and is too cheap to hire another pharmacist, despite the clear need for one, is out of your control. However, the way you reacted towards me, hung up on my sister, placed me on hold when I was in the middle of asking a question, spoke over me, and yelled at my sister (“I just can’t with this… I can’t”) when we were simply confirming that you had the correct phone number (because we were calling on behalf of our father whose primary language is not English) is completely inappropriate. Judging from the other reviews on here, there is a clear and unwavering patter of behavior. Patients come to us in a time of need and at the very least should be treated with respect, even if we, as their providers, are overwhelmed. I hope that both you and Walgreens choose to do better.

as i make my rounds in long island to see former coworkers i pulled into the parking lot that houses a walgreens and not just any walgreens , it have a drive thru pharmacy section which in my opinion is for the lazy types . i did my meet and greet and leave in under 30 minutes and before heading back home i will grab some walgreens brand paper towels and tissue papers at 2 for 10 bucks . nice spacious size store and its well stocked as well and damn its not the flu season but the pharmacy dept area is crowded. got my stuff and grabbed a soda and bag of pretzels for my snack drive back to astoria. its a long island typical walgreens and that ok in my book .

Worst pharmacy manager. Believe her name is Elizabeth. Other rx workers r nice. She hangs up on customers. Makes ppl in pain wait for weeks for medication and then says i want to speak to the doctor. Worst pharmacy because of this manager. I have call Walgreens Corporate and have filed a complaint against the Manager of this Pharmacy. Does not understand ppl taking meds r sick / not well and really rude with them. Wish there was something as negative stars.

Would give them 0 stars if I could. Terrible, disorganized, and never get your online order correct. Avoid at all costs.

I was really surprised to see such a low rating for this Walgreens. But after making the mistake of scheduling a flu shot here, I now totally understand. If you plan on getting a flu shot or covid shot here, this is what to expect: 1.Schedule an appointment online; no walk-ins. 2.When you arrive, expect to be ignored for a good 10-15 minutes, even after you ask for help; even if you are the absolute ONLY customer there!!; even though there are 6 ppl working at the pharmacy. 3.The person who will eventually help you (the "Pharmacy Operations Manager") will not utter more than 5 words to you the entire time you're there. Don't expect a Hello or a smile. 4. Have your insurance card handy but she won't bother asking for your ID. 5.She will give you a form to fill out, then disappear; making you once again, stand there waiting, and waiting, and waiting...she will mysteriously reappear when you finally complain LOUDLY. 6.The actual flu shot took all of 5 seconds...but why did it take 40 MINUTES?!?!?! THE WORST customer service!! You've been warned! Come if you're lonely and have lots of time to kill...but don't expect them to utter more than 5 words to you. There are plenty of other pharmacies in the area...Go There!

Above average for Walgreens. Knowledgeable pharmacist, and all staff are helpful and friendly.

I waited on the phone for an hour for them to hang up the call. I had to leave work to get to the pharmacy and now I’m waiting at the drive thru window for ages. Not sure why it takes 3 people to help out one client, the girl with the pink hair has no clue what she’s doing. Use CVS

Nice clean, lit, organized store. Our go to store for vitamins, hair care and prescription drugs. Everyone in the pharmacy is pleasant and helpful.

Would not recommend. Last week they gave me an adult aspirator for my 2 yr old. They blamed it on the doctor meanwhile the meds are for a toddler and the birth year is 2019. Then tonight they refused to give me my meds because I got there 2 minutes before close. When I said I need the meds to give my 2 yr old before school the lady had the audacity to say “your child is going to school sick?” Which he’s not, they are the last ditch effort to help my son whose had a cough for 4 weeks get better. If you have children don’t use this pharmacy run by heartless lazy people.

It is a clean well stocked establishment with friendly, knowledgeable staff. This was recently reinforced when my son lost his phone in the vicinity of the store. I locked the phone through his Apple account with a message and number to call me if found. We thought it was long gone when I received a call from the manager three days later stating they had found the phone. I'm grateful for the honesty of this Walgreens and will always make them my first choice in drug stores.

Awful!! Pharmacy is terrible never can answer your questions correctly. Never have your medications in stock, forget to fill your prescriptions and always an excuse. I feel bad for the elders. Drive thru 1/2 hour wait time. In store the same. Transfered to a different pharmacy.

The pharmacy staff is the worst. I went twice to get a prescription and it wasn't ready. The third time I waited for it and was told it would be 15 minutes. It took them 45 minutes because they forgot about it! CVS no longer accepts my insurance otherwise I would go there.
