As a first time dog owner we've gone through our worries, but they have been nothing but great! Easily reachable, very polite and welcoming in person. And most importantly, helpful in resolving some issues we had. Happy puppy every time we get him back!

As a first time patient, front desk was not welcoming. Young lady had a bad attitude and was not helpful. Unfortunately we will be choosing another location.

First of all the Veterinarians and staff at the Cortlandt location are just exceptional people. They are all competent and caring and I have no hesitation leaving my dog in their care. Lucy has been a patient at this location for over ten years. That said, the staff seem to be undermined by systems and staffing levels that are just inadequate. I rarely call this location without being put on hold, most recently for ten minutes after which I hung up and had to call back. Twice recently a staff member assured me they would bring my treatment specific question to the doctor and get back to me and each time I had to call the office just before closing time the following day because I had yet to get a call back. Additionally, it's also rare when any conversation with front desk personnel isn't interrupted by a call that, guess what, has to be put on hold. Again, the people are terrific. Corporate needs to support them properly.

This was a seriously agregious visit. My puppy is 4 months old his name is Redbone.I have taken him here once before, and once to Tractor supply for his shots.I took him here today to get some shots, and the woman at the front desk, who I believe is the only staff that is familiar with my pet remarked on his behaviorial progress. We've actually been taking him to puppy training at this PetSmart for the last 2 weeks as well.He is an Australian cattle dog, and has a tendency to bark for attention or protection but I have never heard him bark aggressively out of fear like he did this time. When it was his time for his appointment they claimed that there was no space for me to come to the room with him, so I entrusted my puppy in their care.A few minutes later I heard a loud yelp followed by aggressive barking but I have no idea what actually happened. The staff member came to the lobby to ask me back to the room that clearly had space for me from the very beginning requesting that I muzzle my dog and remarking that he needs socializing. For reference we have been for multiple walks daily, have been taking him to training classes at this same PetSmart, and have been doing TONS of socializing because I am disabled and have nothing but time on my hands.Dr Blackley is an unprofessional veterinarian at a cheap backroom Banfield and I won't ever be going to Banfield, this PetSmart, or taking him to any more classes at this classless establishment for traumatizing a puppy, unnecessarily.Next time, Dr Blackley, don't isolate puppies from their owners, abuse them, and claim innocence at cost of owner sanity.0/10. Too bad you have to leave at least one star on Google reviews.

HorribleVeterinarian did not exam my dog carefully she told me that my dog was in cardiac arrest that I should run to VCA ( nearby) to see a cardiologistMany $$$$ later my dog only had a mild bronchitis and that is something she showily have been able to diagnose had her being a better veterinarianI become a member in California moving to NY I have noticed that in the East Coast Banfiled lacks good veterinarians or lacks veterinarians periodI am certain that Banfield’s is affiliated to VCA and get $$$ for sending their member to VCA which is a horrible hospital I left and I took my dog to Guardian Animal Hospital in Brewster just to find out my dog was not in cardiac arrest he had a mild bronchitis I am grateful that Guardian has great veterinarian that listen to the pet owner and they don’t scare you that your pet is dying if that is not the case at all

We have used Banfield for over a decade for our pups and would go nowhere else. All of the vets (Drs. Blackler, Murphy, Freeman, & Givan) are spectacular, caring, and knowledgeable. The techs, assistants, and front desk staff are just as amazing. We’ll never stop recommending the Cortlandt hospital and we will always be grateful for your kindness at such a difficult time ❤️

Thank you to the doctors and everyone at Banfield for taking care of our four legged family members. You are the most compassionate, understanding and professional group of practitioners we have ever known, and you made a terrible situation more tolerable. We will never forget your kindness.

I took my sister's dog Finn there for grooming. The poor guy was so badly matted they were unable to groom him. They somehow managed to get me an immediate appointment with the vet to do a shave down. They gave me two possible prices for shave down 1 with no anesthesia and one with depending on the dog's tolerance. Turns out he was wonderful during procedure and the price was much less than originally quoted. The help there could not have been kinder and caring. I will be bringing Finn there for regular grooming every 6 weeks so he doesn't ever have this problem again. Again I cannot say enough for the employees. They are truly animal lovers

Love love love this location. Everyone at the front desk is always so helpful. Blair and Jess know my dogs and always greet them with open arms. Dr. Blackler is just the best! She is my trusted vet and my go-to especially for dental cleanings. I know my kids are always in good hands with her. I've started seeing Dr. Freeman when Dr. Blackler is not available and she has been absolutely amazing as well. Always takes such great care of my kids.

My dog was a patient there since I got her a couple years ago. I noticed during Covid I couldn't get a sick appointment for my dogs. We paid for monthly plans for our dogs just to be told nobody has time to see my dogs??? Thank god they've been in good health and haven't needed to bring them in. The older dog has been having issues all week and I've been calling for days for an appointment just to be told they'll get the message to the doctor and someone will call me back. But nobody does!!!! These people should be ashamed of themselves for taking money from people to treat their furry family members like garbage.
